Helping with speech development.
Prerequisite life story: Toddler is late developer for speech, child loves chu chu tv videos with the "Open, Open, Open... Surprise!" part already. I've been watching a shed ton of speech therapy videos and they suggest hesitation and pausing to let the child fill in the gaps in your words if they know them. These eggs are really useful, they come in two parts, the animals inside are set within the egg so they can't get lost, they all have a letter of the alphabet on them that corresponds with the starting letter of animal inside. From these, I've managed to get child to say open and surprise which is two more words than I had last week. I've also been saying "It's a <<Insert animal name here>>" to add another part to fill in the gaps.in terms of value for money, I'm finding that anything that's helping child's speech and her trust in my interaction with her is worth its weight in gold. I'm recommending because of this.

Really cute for kids
Really cute and my daughter loves it. Just wish there was a way you could choose which animal you could receive as it is totally random

The toy is fixed in the egg
Was expecting the toy to come out so you can play with it but it’s fixed in the bottom half of the egg so not really any use for anything

Daylight Robbery!!
Products ok but didn’t realise I was paying £6 for ONE small egg!! My fault should’ve read the small print. But the description does state “eggs” so I thought they was going to be at least two. I’m sure these can be found for a lot cheaper because definitely not worth the money I’ve paid.

Not worth the money
I don't normally write reviews but this was such a rubbish toy, my son opened it and then completely lost interest. The animal inside doesn't even come out which makes it even less fun. Waste of money and just a really boring toy
