Does what it's supposed to do in black.

This is a jack plate. It's pretty sturdy, and has a more interesting shape than many others. And, it's black, which was the main feature I wanted. The hole for the jack is a little too small for the Puretone jack I intend to install, but a step drill will resolve that in a couple of revolutions. The plate is plenty strong for its purpose, and the black finish appears to be well applied. I can't speak to its durability, as yet, but it's a steel plate, so I'm pretty confident that it will do the job. Great product at a great price!

Excellent transaction, in every way! Thank you!These jack plates are great! Look really good and take a beating! Because I was building a Meteora, which has a sharper bend where the jack is, I had to bend it some, to make it fit properly, but its fairly easy to do, and looks great!!

I like that this jack plate is slightly recessed. Had a problem in that the hole is too small for a standard Switchcraft jack to fit through. I had to ream it out to install the jack. Should work ok, but I don't think it should be too much to expect a jack plate to fit the jack.

perfect fit for an old peavey foundation fretless, whose original jack plate was hard plastic which cracked five years ago- replaced by a piece of hard plastic i had cut and shaped to fit. the decision to purchase this product was based on seeing one on my other peavey bass which has the exact same metal jack plate i purchased.

I put it on a custom off set telecaster. I really like how the jack lug is sunken. Makes plugging in much easier.
