Product was as described. Needed replacement handle for GE fridge and found profile and measurements a good match. Easy swap.

Easy install

So far so good. We live in a rental with cheap rent where we need to do a lot of our own repairs. The GE fridge in our kitchen was purchased by our landlady shortly after we moved in and like many others with a GE fridge that takes this model number door handle, the door handle broke within the first year or two. We had had it taped up for years and it finally got so bad that even tape wasn't holding it anymore. I'm glad I had the thought to search Amazon for the model/part number and found this compatible handle, because GE charges $50 for their genuine replacement part and every review for it mentions that it also broke within in the first year of use. We've only had this handle installed for about a month I think, so can't say how durable it is, but for the $15 I paid, even if it only lasts a year it was worth the price considering GE's part's price and quality. It's ever so slightly a brighter white than the original, but it's barely noticeable, no one would ever be able to notice that it's not the handle that came with the fridge.

I tried to glue my old one and it held for several years, but after the last break it was time to get a new one. The information on Amazon made it very easy to verify that I ordered the right on. I installed it in a couple of minutes and it was a perfect match.

This is a perfect replacement handle. Very sturdy and easy to install. Remember to keep the original screws from the old handle.

Fit as designed, only difference was had to remove bottom screw to install , handle didn't have a slot for screw to set in , instead had a hole through handle .
