Also helps post C section
I bought this band during my first pregnancy because I started to have lower back pain in my second trimester and had to stand for long periods at work, which made it worse. This band provided great support, was comfortable to wear all day and was discrete under my clothing, even under fitted dresses.Fast forward to my second pregnancy, I had less back pain so didn’t use it as often, but I had a C section this time around, so I opted to use it as an abdominal binder. It provided just the right amount of compression over my wound, did not shift out of place and in those first 2 weeks after it really helped with pain relief, especially when dealing with my toddler. It has been a great purchase, excellent value for money and good quality product. I have recommended it to a lot of friends.

Highly recommend for active pregnant woman!
10/10 recommend. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and 220lb. Ive been having the worst pubic and back pain at work recently (I work at a veterinary emergency hospital) so I'm on my feet, up and down, lifting/carrying dogs and cats and moving quickly all day. I've finally started feeling heavier in my lower belly, so I decided to get a belly band to try, this one had great reviews so decided to give it a try. Holy cow, it's a life saver. I am no longer in horrible pain after my 10 hour shift and barely able to walk. It is also very comfortable to wear while getting up and down off the floor or on the floor bending over restraining an animal. I barely notice it under my scrubs. I got a Medium/large, I was a bit worried it would be too small, but it has good stretch while offering great support and I have room to grow. It's definitely stretched out a bit through my work week, but I'm hoping washing/drying it will shrink it back to original size.

Runs a bit large
I finally found a belly band that fits, its actually a bit big, I have tried XXL in other brands but it did not fit but this XXL runs big in my opinion, I could have sized down. It feels comfortable and helps with my aches.

My favorite maternity belt of three
This is the third maternity belt I have gotten, and I currently have no need to get another. The first was a nude color for wearing under clothing, and it works fine, but it makes odd/unflattering stiff lines/bulges under or over clothing from sitting/bending while wearing it. (Otherwise it is comparable to this maternity band.) The nude color looks much more hospital/bandage-ish to me, and is quite conspicuous over clothing, but not comfortable under clothing without a layer under it, which gets warm most of the year where I live. I then bought a second belt in black, so that I could wear it less conspicuously over clothing and not feel like a therapy patient or something. I was experiencing "lightning crotch," so I tried a taller band figuring that it would be more supportive which should help. That band certainly felt more supportive, but the part around the waist loosened up in 1-2 days (due to the way it attaches) so that it wasn't always as supportive. It needed to be adjusted just so and was made up of multiple pieces that needed to be readjusted after every bathroom break, so it became annoying and frustrating very quickly and I decided to try to find a black band that would be less frustrating. I tried this band, which is less tall than my second band, 1 piece, supportive, yet flexible and comfortable. It does not create a feeling of excessive pressure on the baby belly, yet is supportive. It also is less stiff than my original maternity band, so it doesn't have those odd ridges/bulges on the front of the thigh/waist area from sitting/bending while wearing it. I've been wearing it for 1-2 weeks now and it is doing great. My only complaint about it is that there are still some small horizontal "lines" that look white/light on the black elastic band. If this were remedied, the belt would be more subtle. For reference, this is my fourth pregnancy, hence the larger belly needing a little support. I bought the first band while I was expecting number 3 and the elastic is doing great, so I expect this band to hold up well also. I pulled out my maternity band around 27 weeks this pregnancy because I started experiencing "lightning crotch." I can tell wearing the band helps when I need to hold/carry my almost 40 pound toddler (which I've definitely been cutting back on, but I still need to hold him sometimes, to lift him onto the changing table or put him in bed, etc.) I also got back to exercising, which is greatly helping with the lightning crotch symptoms, swelling, and varicose veins this pregnancy. Hope this info helps!

I don't get the hype...
I am honestly super surprised to see so many positive reviews about this belly band. I started getting SPD with intense pelvic pain early on in my pregnancy. There really isn't a whole lot that can be done for it, but one of the recommendations is a belly band for pelvic support. I would wear this during my 12 hour shifts on my feet (I'm a Labor and Delivery nurse) throughout my whole pregnancy. I didn't notice the slightest difference in my pelvic pain or general pregnancy discomforts. What I did notice was an increase in acid reflux and trips to the bathroom since this squeezes your bladder. I don't discredit that this works for some people, but for me it's just a snake oil product.Things to note, it fit well (I got M/L and went up to 170lbs at 5'3"), easy to put on and felt secure with a little bit of stretch to it, velcro was strong and didn't wear out during my pregnancy. It's generally a good quality product, but for me it just didn't live up to its claims. I had higher hopes based on the reviews.Hope this helps!

Good for 3rd trimester!
Works good for the 3rd trimester & price! I definitely notice a difference in my lower back when I wear it vs when I don’t wear it. Would recommend!
