This is a very attractive, well-made, sturdy floor lamp. I was a little concerned when I received the package. The box didn't look large enough to hold the lamp and the shade. Upon opening, however, I found the shade in a "collapsed" condition. Curious, I took it out, and held it up in my hand and it drips down showing the shape of the lampshade. That's fine, i thought, but how do I get it to stay in that shape? Looking inside the lampshade, I saw three separate white thin metal bars with an odd shape. Without looking at the directions, I figured out that these bars are movable, all you need to do is pull them up, one at a time, such that they lock into place at the top of the lamp. Repeat with the other two and you have a perfectly sturdy, no wrinkles, lamp shade. Ingenious!! The rest of the lamp assembly was simple, just screwing the sections together. It's a very attractive lamp. Oh, it also comes with one light bulb. I didn't know that. I had also purchased a pack of 8 light bulbs. So I have extra. Very satisfied.

This floor lamp looks expensive and high-quality, but it’s reasonably priced. Easy to assemble too. Just remember you have to snap the lampshade support bars firmly into place. If you don’t do that, the shade will be wrinkled and will look awful. I love the lamp.

The lamp packaging was well done and protective.It assembled easily.The shade looked very wrinkled, but when you pop it open with the bars, they disappear so don't be taken aback.The base was not as heavy as I expected, I thought it would be heavier based on the description, it still stands well, though my concern was my elderly father pulling on the chain might pull it over, but so far so good.The pull chain lays along the pull, so the chain does not stick out and hang down like other lamps, that was a bit disappointing.The description states it has a pull dimmer, we only had a 3-way LED, which only worked on one setting and I did not have a dimmable bulb to test this.Over all it is a nice looking lamp,and I would buy it again.

Wow -- I ordered two of these lamps and they came so fast! Even better, assembly was easy, and they were well packaged. This is a good quality product; you can tell from the way the pieces go together nicely and the weighted stand. Also, it is U/L listed, which is really important if you care about fire hazards. My cheap predecessor to these lamps (not this brand or seller) almost lit my house on fire, so I wanted to be sure these have been approved by Underwriters Laboratories, and the approval seal is on the plug. 60 w LED bulb is great, though I will probably add a stronger bulb in the near future. It takes up to 100 w. I also like the pull chain -- it makes it easier to turn on and off without groping around in the shade for the switch. The design is classy and timeless. I can't see how anyone would be disappointed with this lamp.

This lamp is perfect for the guest bedroom. It was very easy to assemble and is a great value for the money. We needed a smaller lamp with a small base just to create a reading area and is also the perfect height. It matches the bed and mirror perfectly, and is a pretty addition to our Paris decorated room. The only negative I can mention is the base is a little wobbly on carpet, but it doesn't bother me because it's behind a chair. This lamp is exactly what I was looking for. It's beautiful.

We truly love this lamp. It's beautiful, fits very well in our living room. Perfect size. The bronze is what we got and it's perfect. The only problem we have had is it would not turn on at first. I contacted the seller and got the automated response of what to do. It did not work. Everything was plugged in, the light bulb was good, but it still does not work. I tried to contact the seller and got no response. We think there is a short in the switch. It would come on after 5-10 tries, but now it just flashes and goes back off. We don't have to have a new lamp, we just want this one to work.

Ordered this lamp for our living room by my desk. It was easy to put assemble and only took 10 minutes. Other reviews stated the shade was wrinkled, no issues if you just consult the directions to be sure you snap in the support hooks inside the shade. Has the perfect amount of light and is not too heavy to move around. Would recommend this product.
