The Mystic Foundation: Understanding and Exploring the Magical Universe

I've been studying material such as this for 30 years and have to say this is the book I am recommending to anyone to mystical, magical, new-age, or pagan topics. It is a thorough and fact-based reference. Penczak brilliantly leads the reader from simple to complex topics in an organized way. The information builds from one chapter to the next; the reader can build their own understanding. I particularly found the comparisons and contrasts among many schools of thought to be invaluable.

This was actually my first book by Christopher, and after reading several other of his books I do have to agree that Mystic Foundation does not bring anything new to the table... other then perhaps the simple message that "there are many paths up the mountain". I actually would consider this book as a prerequisite for his temple series, though i have only read the first book (in the 'Temple series').For me personally, this book changed my life and someday i will thank Chris in person. I also found this book 'easier to digest' then the temple books, as he doesn't constantly use 'witch' several times per page as he does in the other books I read by him.I liked this book so much I flew across the country to give my mother a copy, then went home and bought another for my self.

It's pretty clear what this book is supposed to be about, or should be clear if you read the description: "This nondogmatic primer outlines the mystical teachings of Paganism, Christianity, Islam, and other spiritualities spanning Eastern and Western traditions."I have several books by Chris Penczak, and they all have been tremendously helpful to me on my spiritual path. This one is no different. It is not a Temple series book, but a fanatastic overview of many other traditions. Great for anyone who wants to broaden their knowledge, I highly recommend it, along with any other book by this very talented author.

Fantastic book! I think this was the first book I bought after discovering Christopher in a google search. This book set me up to read his other books and get past limits that had been holding me back. Thank you for writing his book, Christopher.

Loved the book, but it did take me a while to get thru it. Christopher Penczak has done it again. All lightworkers should have to read his books!

For those looking for a deeper understanding of magick it is a must read. helpfull in building a solid foundation

Arrived promptly, well packaged, in fact that might be my only complaint there was way more plastic than needed. The book itself is in very good condition, pages very slightly yellowed due to age but otherwise perfect. The content following a quick flick through is intriguing, informed and well written , I am looking forward to a great read and trying to find another copy for a friend.

Cannot express how magnificent this book is, everything you need to know at your fingertips as always with Penczak books.
