Wow! Great Pan for Lots of Reasons!
First I made the Pineapple Upsidedown recipe that was listed for the pan. Today I baked a lemon cake using this pan. Both bakes turned out wonderfully! Both slid easily out of the pan. Additionally, It's such a good pan because you can easily divide the cake into individual pieces which you can serve or freeze! Buy this pan quickly and start baking!

Nordic Ware Best quality
Love this pan. Have used it 2 dozen times and nothing sticks and the cakes fall out easily. Clean up is a snap with soap and water. I usually use melted butter or the spray Bakers Joy or something similar. Love all Nordic Ware products so far and I own 6 or more.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake! Yay!
My son's favorite cake and I have had trouble making them for years. I've seldom been able to transfer them from the baking dish I made them in onto a serving plate without breaking them apart. This pan made the job effortless. His last birthday cake was beautifully turned out, with pineapple slices and cherries, perfectly spaced and no broken parts. And one box of cake mix was just enough to fill it.

Easy way to make a nostalgic cake recipe.
I love Nordic ware, often checking their website for new offerings, reading the catalogue for King Arthur Flour which features Nordic cake ware. Then I pretty much come back to Amazon to find a decent price especially if thinking ahead of seasonal uses and buying after season of the previous year. The nostalgic pineapple upside down cake that my mom made for my dad (both now deceased) caught my attention. I like that you can imagine what the cake will look like since you bake it "upside down" to what it will appear as....pineapple slices go in first. Much of Nordic ware is dimensional, so not as simple to clean as just plain cake pans, but this pan did not have the deep patterns of other Nordic ware, thus easy to clean....just don't scrub, let soak a few minutes if necessary. I seldom follow Nordic ware recipes as written since I find them somewhat dull - I am always experimenting with adding spices of some kind or another. In this case my tweek was to use dried apricots since I never use those ugly fake cherries! Everyone liked the cake. Find it for a good price and buy it.

Great for this cake
I collect different cake pans and am partial to Nordic Ware. I've made several pineapple upside down cakes in this pan and every one of them came out perfect. I usually prep my cake pans with Baker's Joy and with my last pineapple upside down cake, I forgot. I worried about it sticking in the pan as it baked. Took it out of the oven, left it in the pan on a rack to cool for 20 minutes, cake inverted perfectly onto a plate.

Bought Four. You need this!!!
No sticking. Turned out perfect. Seemed to take a little longer to cook but no problem. Did not use recipe included as I used my own. Nothing to dislike.

Regret following the recipe that came with the pan!
Using the recipe included with the pan resulted in batter overflowing the pan. In addition the cake batter was gooey even when it was done. I’m going back to using my heavier duty nordicware cast aluminum Bundt cake for pineapple upside down and a different recipe. Also pan was chipped when I got it and now it has more chips. Color is cute and cake does release easily but that’s it, at least for my experience.
