It's a long DP 1.4 cable, but maybe a challenge to get working
When it works, it's a relatively inexpensive cable that meets all the advertised claims, including full bandwidth for a signal like 4k 120hz. But in my experience, getting it to work is hit or miss with mostly misses.Story timeI bought three of these cables for use with a Founder's Edition RTX 2080 Ti and 3x Acer XB273K Sbmiprzx (4k 144hz, G-Sync) monitors. Simply plugging in the cables resulted in no signal on all three monitors.During troubleshooting, I tried using my Thinkpad laptop, with a reliable Cable Matters usb-c to displayport adapter, plugged into a Thunderbolt port, and that was able to work after unplugging and replugging a few times. Once that was working, I plugged in that same cable+monitor into my graphics card, and then I had a reliable signal, using the full DP 1.4 bandwidth (4k120) (and G-Sync was detected and enabled)Unfortunately, I was only able to perform this miracle once, additional attempts to get my other monitors and other cables working never saw the monitor being recognized, using either of my computers. One potentially telling issue is that using the working laptop+adapter+cable+monitor combo, after getting the display to work when plugged in via Thunderbolt, would fail when plugged into a non-Thunderbolt usb-c port with a "usb device needs more power than the port can supply" error. My best guess is that three of these cables are causing power issues when plugged into a single graphics card.Given the other 5 star reviews, I'm willing to believe this cable generally works reliably when used with a single monitor and a desktop (no dongle). Other configurations seem problematic.

Works great for dell p2719dc
My computer is across the room, needed something to go from my rx580 to a dell p2719dc monitor, cable is nice, picture quality solid but i dont need fancy gaming. Work stuff mostly, watching and editing videos, etc.Wish i could have got this about 5 feet longer as i had to get the 25 foot but needed 30ish, but for what i need to do i have had no issues. Was going to spend more on one of those fancy fiber DP cables, after much frustration and learning about the finickiness of DP, i figured id give it one last shot before spending the dough. This one worked and its been a few months and have had no issues at all. Cable is directional and i like that it locks.

RTX5000 to Dell 3216Q 4K@60Hz on the other side of the room
Works exactly as described. I need to run four 4K Dell 3216Q displays at 60Hz on the other side of the room from the workstation, and this extra long active DisplayPort cable does the job perfectly. No issues so far.

Mostly works. But not always
The cable works most of the time. But after 2 weeks it started getting a bit weird. At the start of a gaming session, after the computer had been off for 12+ hours. It would always drop the signal once every few minutes for ~10 seconds until I either unplugged it and re-plugged it into my monitor. Or turned my monitor completely off and back on.And it would randomly fail to synchronize a change in resolution until I changed it again (alt-tab back to desktop) or rebooted. This would happen once every 2 days or so.All of this was running at 2560x1440@120hz (mix of hdr and sdr scenarios)Went back to a non-active (shorter) cable and all those problems went away. It's been a week so far without any issues.

25 feet. Good Enough for 3440x1440@100hz.
I was worried about the length of the cable. I was wary that at 25', it might not be able to drive my new ultra widescreen monitor at 100hz. But I'm happy to say that it works great at 3440x1440p 100hz, which is the max refresh rate of the monitor I am using. No glitches or artifacts, perfect signal. My old setup used a 15' HDMI cable and it only ran at 60hz max, so I was happy that this longer DP cable was able to drive it at full bandwidth. My monitor does complain about the cable, a little popup appears that tells you "please use the cables that came with the monitor", but you can dismiss it with a "never show this again" and it will be gone forever.

Visual artifacts
I saw artifacts/glitches when using a resolution of 5120x1440@120hz with full chroma 4:4:4 sampling.

If youre looking to extend your Valve Index Vr headset you need this
bought this to extend my Valve Index vr from my office to my living room the 25ft was perfect. So far everything is working perfect. I bought a separate USB 3 cord that was 32ft that also worked.

Works like a charm
I bought two 7.5m versions of this cable for my remote PC to connect to a couple of monitors - been working great for 6 months with no problems. I even bent one of the connectors by mistake (too much strain on it - my fault) and, after bending it back, still working without fault.

Works
I was skeptical that a DP cable of this length would work (active or otherwise). However it works well and can run 2k signal at 170 Hz without issues. So add one more in the "works as advertised camp".For those that couldn't get this to work, remember that it's unidirectional and can only be plugged in one way. The direction is indicated on the connector. If it's not working for you, try reversing the cable.
