I bought this for my grandson, aged 4. He has difficulty concentrating but this has proved invaluable as it holds his attention really well. He enjoys experimenting and making his own shapes and designs. He also likes being given various challenges, such as to put the rubber band around a specific number of pins or to make sure every pin has a rubber band around it or to make a shape inside a shape etc. It has helped with his fine motor skills. The fact that the board is small is a bonus as it means it is easily used anywhere and is not restricted to use at a table.

My 5 year old opened the box and started using this straight away! It is sturdy and a bit smaller than expected but this size is better suited to him. It comes with plenty of elastic bands and the cards have interesting shapes on them with a few blank ones. I expect older children might like the cards more as some of the shapes are tricky to make. He just enjoys making his own patterns and shapes. Lots of concentration and quiet time with this toy and easily transported!

This is keeping my son and daughter thoroughly entertained. The board is very sturdy and very good quality and there are plenty of strong bands provided. They have been playing with the board every day and so far have only broken one band. They have loved seeing how far they can stretch the bands, how many they can fit onto the board and what shapes they can make. The board is large enough to keep them entertained for a long period and small enough that you could transport it around with them too. It's a perfect size for small hands and great for developing fine motor skills. All round very good product, would definitely recommend!

Firstly this product is really well made and there are plenty of rubber bands supplied (although we've also found you can get even more creative using loom bands too on this).It's good to have a different way for both my 5 & 7 year old to 'draw' a picture. Because it's such a different way, it encourages some thoughtfulness in how to create the picture.As well as the supplied pictures we also asked the kids to create other things and they were really excited to think about how they would do it on the board.Would recommend this and it would be good as a travel toy too. The rubber bands are of course easily replaced if they go missing which will happen with kids means the toy will last a long time.

Good quality product which is just the right size for little hands. Not too big not too small. Easy to store. The cards are sturdy so should last a long time.Ideas for designs included on cards and different size and colour rubber bands. Good to work on hand skills for children to strengthen hand muscles.Quick delivery and came well packaged.

I brought this for my 3.5 year old son. He loves playing with it and I'm sure we will get loads of use out of it. It is great for developing the muscles in the hands.The quality is excellent and it looks very sturdy. It is a fair bit smaller than anticipated. It comes with little picture cards which you can recreate. This is an excellent brain exercise! It would be great if the designer could come up with some shapes which a child can identify with. Animal shapes would be fun!

Beautifully handmade board, I was very pleased with the excellent quality. I bought this for my nearly 4 year old son in order to practise his fine motor skills and shape knowledge. He was instantly excited by it and has engaged with it for a considerable amount of time since we received it. I am an early years teacher and I have many plastic boards at school which we use for the same purpose, however this version is much more pleasing to use because if it’s natural finish and solid feel.

Bought as a present. Lovely sturdy product, received on time and looks like it will be a good challenging toy! Would definitely buy again. 1 star less as it comes in a cardboard box and it’d be nice to have a pouch or a stronger box to keep all the cards and rubber bands together.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour mon fils de 5 ans. Il est très ludique et favorise la créativité. Il permet de travailler également la géométrie et le repérage dans l'espace. Aucun souci avec les élastiques reçus, ils sont solides. Les petites cartes modèles sont résistantes et peuvent être manipulées sans crainte. Petit plus il y a des cartes où l'on peut créer son propre modèle. Je suis conquise.

Das Spiel lässt sich frei gestalten und hilft beim Erlernen der Farben, Formen und der Geschlicklichkeit.Die Verarbeitung sämtlicher Teile und Materialien ist einwandfrei und robust, selbst die Gummibänder.Unsere Kinder stellen sowohl die Bilder als auch eigene Motive mit den Gummibändern nach und beschäftigen sich ingesamt sehr lange mit dem Spielzeug.Das Spielzeug kommt in einer einfachen Verpackung (weißer Karton), das stellt jedoch kein größeres Problem dar, da man zur Not die Packung selbst markieren, bemalen oder beschriftne kann.

Voici un jeu intelligent qui favorise la motricité des doigts. Jeu calme pour mes 2 enfants de 4 et 9 ans. Le jeu semble solide et peut être facilement emmener dans un sac à main pour être utilisé à tout moment. Je suis enchantée.

Spiel wurde für meinen Sohn 5 Jahre gekauft. Ich wollte dass er lernt sich etwas besser zu konzentrieren. Leider fällt es ihm sehr schwer und er soll bereits im Sommer in die Schule. Ich finde die Montessori Spielsachen echt super, da sie spielerisch lernen etwas mehr dabei zu bleiben. Dieses Spiel gefällt meinem Sohn sehr. Er findet es spannend gerade durch die Gummis... Da man diese ja nur in anderer Hinsicht kennt. Sogar mein 3 jährige Tochter setzt sich als hin und versucht sich. Klappt mit etwas Hilfe auch schon super. Überlege mir ein zweites anzuschaffen. Tolle und sinnvolle Beschäftigung.

J' ai acheté le jeu Ucradle Geoboard pour ma classe de primaire et ainsi l' utiliser lors d' activités en autonomie. L' enfant s' entraîne et perfectionne sa perception dans l' espace et sa logique en manipulant et en s'amusant : il place les élastiques sur le support en bois (de bonne facture) à l' aide des vis implantées afin d' y reproduire les cartes modèles.Mes élèves adorent alors BRAVO !
