Mesh has pad which makes it useless for soldering
The mesh has a circular pad of solid material in the middle which won't let a torch flame through from below. Not useful for heating from below, which is the whole reason for getting this kind of setup!

Poor Quality
I can understand the paint burning off the tripod after only one burn but the mesh screen is really poor quality. The edges disintegrated completely and the center piece was about as thick as two pieces of paper. One burn and you can already see through a small section of it. It's really thin. Edit. The mesh delivered to me doesn't match the one in the sellers picture.
