Fantastic choice
I am a quilter, sewer so a good iron is a must have item. My iron that I had used and liked for several years finally died. I went to my local quilt shop for a new iron. The one I wanted was on back order.I then turned to amazon looking for quick delivery, 4 stars, not too expensive (since I wanted to get the other one later). The Vremi 1800 watt iron had excellent reviews so I ordered itAfter 2 days of using the iron I can honestly say it was definitely a good choice. Nice weight, dry ironing seams flat for piecing is very good and the iron has a nice strong burst of steam when needed.May have to rethink buying the other iron. Will buy this iron again for a backup

Works well
The iron works well for the money but does drip a little. Still, for the money, it is good.

Great iron, happy with purchase
Not the lightest iron , but I like size of the plate. I use extensively to fuse interfacing to fabric. The 1800 watts is great. Glides nicely on fabric although for my purpose I press more than iron. I don't really use the steam because every iron I've eventually leaks. (Press cloth and spray bottle) I may try using the steam for some clothing this next week.I also almost immediately put the hot iron down on fusible interfacing.🙄 But I immediately use a dryer sheet and it came right off easily. So yes, I'm happy do far with this iron.

Very good iron
Very good iron. Heats up quickly (about 45 sec. for hottest setting after plugging in), & green light comes on when it's ready (i.e., heated up to desired setting). It generates as much steam as I can imagine anyone would want/need. Easy / smooth to control & use. Having a larger water reservoir (as it does) really helps if you like to use a lot of steam (as I do). I like the ceramic plate, & get the impression the features & design were well-thought-out. Definitely the best iron I've ever had (although that bar was pretty low (-: ). I've used it 6-7 times, & I think the bigger-than-average size likely does help me finish more quickly.

Love it
I am so happy I made this purchase. I read through the reviews and was very nervous to do so, but I needed an upgrade so I made the leap. I am happy (so far) that I did. This iron glides right along the fabric and my old one is a cheap Hamilton Beach brand that did not do that. I am keeping my old one as backup because it still works, but this one has been great. As for the claims of water in the product, mine had droplets of water, but from what I have read on multiple google searches and different iron brands, it is common for them to test prior to sending them out, which I am ok with. The reservoir was not full of water, so no big deal. I haven't quite figured out the self clean yet, but that is just gonna require me sitting down with the manual and iron in front of me.So far I love it, however I have not had it long and will update this review in the future if necessary.

UPDATE: Works Great, But Not For Long
I bought this iron to use on uniforms that I have to press regularly every week. I like the heavy weight of it and the stream burst feature was something I really liked about it, along with the large water reservoir and ceramic coated plate. Everything worked great for a few months, then the stream burst button stopped working. Short of trying to take the iron apart, I tried everything to get it to let loose but nothing worked and steam would just barely come out, nowhere near enough to get wrinkles out. I bought a second iron thinking maybe I just got a dud. It worked great at first, however the exact same thing has happened with this one too. It's like a spring is in the trigger and gets stuck or breaks and fire me or renders the iron useless, which is a shame because I really like all the features it has. I won't be buying a third one though and will instead be putting more money into a more reputable brand that will hold up longer (hopefully). Once I find one I'll venture into taking this thing apart and determine if it's an easy fix it not. It's a shame the manufacturer hasn't read all the reviews on here and figured the issue out and posted something because I see several reviews from people who have had the exact same problem.UPDATE: So I'm not recommending anyone do this, I'm just passing along what I found when I did. I carefully took my iron apart, figuring I couldn't do any harm since it wasn't working the way I needed it to anyway. I was able to take it apart without messing with any electrical components at all and other then removing 7 small screws along the way, I only had to use a small prying tool from my vehicle interior panel service kit to carefully separate the plastic handle components to expose the component for the steam burst function. Surprisingly it was just a basic design where by when the trigger is pulled an elongated flat piece presses down on a black plastic piston encased inside a white plastic cylinder with a plunger and likely a spring inside. When the trigger is released the piston SHOULD be completely up putting tension on the trigger and allowing steam to build pressure and be ready when needed, but it was obvious when I opened the handle that the piston and plunger were stuck down in the cylinder therefore steam couldn't build up. With my fingertips I was able to work it loose and the piston popped up. I was able to work it open and closed several times but it stuck again. Since there was nothing electrical about it's operation I applied a very small amount of lithium grease to the piston and then worked it open and closed for several minutes and it didn't stick again. I reassembled the handle careful not to break any of the plastic tabs that snap in place too hold it together along with the screws. Oh, you do have to carefully pry the mist button off in the process which just snaps back in place last. Anyway. I filled the reservoir with distilled water as usual and watched and waited for the iron to heat up. It worked with no issues and the test was using the steam burst button. Low and behold STEAM!! It's work8ng like it's new again. I know the piston is plastic. The issue might be that it's a cheap grade and needs to be ceramic or metal, or it could be the spring inside the plunger itself, although I've always and only used distilled water. But it's working again for now. Again, not suggesting anyone attempt what I did. I'm comfortable talking things apart and throwing them away if I put it back together and have parts left over (ha ha). But I'm betting several manufacturers use that same component, so I'm going to do my homework before selecting another one is this one seizes up again. But the iron is great when it's working correctly.
