Perfect for the price
First off I installed this front end on my 2004 suburban 4x4 LT about 6 months ago before I would write this review for anyone who might be unsure on thes other reviews. -Secondly I live in south Louisiana where the roads absolutely suck and are rough as hell. This front end has met all its checks as far as I’m concerned with my use. Great for the price!!! - Lastly I would like to say I gave this 4 stars because the upper ball joint came without a grease fitting or a way to install one and the shocks where not heavy duty enough for me I went with another brand. Other than that please don’t rely on all the other reviews I am a actual mechanic that was looking to save some money and took a chance with this and it turns out Detroit axle meets my standards. I also bought the lower A-arms from them and was surprised they where just as heavy duty as the old factory ones just in case you are doing it all. Hope this helps others with the front end options out there.

“junk” absolute junk . Do not buy
I needed to replace a lot of parts in my truck front end, have a 2001 chevy silverado 1500 extended cab 4wd with 217,000 miles. this kit made it easy. So far so good, truck rides and drives better than it ever has. Word of advice, do NOT buy the Moog camber and casters bolts, they strip super easy. Ended up reinstalling the original ones, they are steel, moog is aluminum, plates are junk….. Updating my review, I’ve been meaning to do this for some time. Do NOT buy this Detroit axle crap. Everything is bad. Except for the shocks. Bearings, control arm, ball joints, idler arm and idler are complete junk. I will never buy this again. Not even in an emergency nor would I install it on an enemy’s vehicle. That’s how bad these parts are. If you’re familiar with” you get what you pay for”

Arrived as described and on time
Suspension kit arrived and was as described. Installed and fits well. Shocks seem a little softer than stock. And abs/ brake light has come on again since wheel bearing replacement. Although no play in bearing has been noticed this far.

Would not purchase again.
I would not purchase this product again. After less than 500 miles all 4 shocks are leaking. Pitman arm had to be replaced. Idler arm and mount both have excessive play in joints. One upper control arm has a bushing issue and will not hold alignment. Is it cheap? Yes. But it's not cheap enough to justify the time and labor it will take to continually replace all the parts. The wheel bearings seem to be the only thing with no issues so far.
