Double-Sided Japanese Chiyogami Designed Paper Black 4pattern Each 15 Sheets

I don't know about you, but I grow tired of simple scrapbook paper designs. And as someone who is very in tune with my own culture, I try to incorporate it everyday in my life. Especially when it comes to journaling.The paper quality is like printer paper, which is great cause after all, this is origami paper. Easy to fold.I would be VERY CAREFUL on how you adhere the paper to your journals if you use this for journaling. Any paper crafters glue would be sufficient enough.I initially bought these because, like I said. I need variety. Also, a pop and pip in my journals.

Beautiful paper, easy to work with...used it to make Christmas ornaments for my daughter in Japan and she absolutely loved them!

Pros and cons:The paper stock is absolutely stunning. I'm doing a series of oriental greeting cards and this paper is used to make oriental die cut fans. The paper is very much oriental and I use it to accent the fans and depending on the size of the card, as an interior or exterior background. The photo is for die cut oriental fans which are very elegant. The paper stock is perfect to embellish the fan and I match it to the background card stock along with complementing Washi tape. Love the patterns of the paper.The only downsize is the weight and size of the paper. It is just paper stock and I would have preferred a 65lb stock and a larger size paper since many of the cards I make are 5x7, so this size is too small. Also, it is two-sided, but the other side is just a solid color to match one of the colors on the patterned side.Other than that, the oriental patterns on this paper are very beautiful.I'm giving this a four-star due to the light paper weight and small size.
