Great Desk!
EDIT 2: It's now been a little over a year, and about 6 or so months since I received and installed the new keyboard shelf gliders. The desk is still fairly nice, large chunks of the 'cherry wood' laminate have come off from the gouge points which I had to cover up with tape, so once again: BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL during assembly so that you don't gouge the laminate....As for the keyboard gliders, There is a little black rubber piece on the back end of the slider that came off on the left side, now that side comes forward a little bit more than the right, so I have to be careful how far I let the tray slide forward... Tried putting the little rubber piece back on, but no luck! Also, the sliders are made of a 2 pieces of shaped steel that fit inside of each other using a piece of aluminum that is shaped and has little holes on the top and bottom where tiny ball bearings sit. the aluminum piece and bearings are what form the stop gap between the steel pieces and allow the 'gliding action' when you receive this desk there is quite a bit of grease in each slider, DO NOT wipe it out... it'll cause to much friction and destroy the slider, in fact, I've actually been re-greasing mine occasionally to keep it rolling smooth...Other than those 2 things, the desk is quite nice... It's a corner desk so the work spaces are small, but when I got a bigger monitor for my laptop I just purchased a mounting arm and attached it to the back... There are all kinds of tricks to utilize more space with this desk which is why I like it! :)EDIT:About 6 months after purchase the 'gliders' that the keyboard shelf gave out and my keyboard shelf fell off completely.. but I contacted the manufacturer, and they have an AWESOME warranty... Call took 2 minutes, and they're sending me a new set of gliders... Still a great desk, and worth the buy!___________________________________________________Excellent desk! Looks exactly as advertised!Pros:-Fits nicely into a corner in a small room-Lots of workspace-Very stable, even on carpet, the adjustable feet are quite nice! :)-Fairly easy assembly. The Instruction manual gives you a key at the beginning for what items are what number (screws included!) so that you know which piece goes with which screws, and the panel that the screws come attached to are numbered as well, so when it tells you to use #22 screws with a certain tube or whatever, look for #22 on the sheet of screws! It comes with an allen wrench to, but if you've got your own ratcheting allen driver, or any kind of allen driver, use that! :)-While it is fiberboard, it does feel very strong still!Cons:-The keyboard shelf doesn't hang very low, so if you get an ergonomic keyboard like I got(Logitech Wave Combo Mk550) you wont be able to use the more than the 4 degree legs on the back of the keyboard. for that matter, even with a normal keyboard you may not be able to raise the back more than 4 degrees.-The 'cherry wood' finish of course with most desks not handmade these days is nothing more than a laminate over fiberboard. Be careful during assembly or you'll wind up with gouges or scrapes out of the laminate like I did. One nice thing though, instead of leaving the bottom side of the panels exposed, they were covered in white laminate which I like.-While assembly was fairly easy, I will say that the little blue tinted screws that are used to attach the keyboard tray as well as the black shelf edge pieces on the two top shelves, are a pain in the butt! the holes pre-drilled a bit small, so one may try very carefully making the hole just a tiny bit larger, or perhaps drive the screws into the holes before actually attaching them to the finished desk. otherwise you may run into problems getting them in tight against the back like I would prefer them to be.-It comes with a little grey cap type piece that goes into the hole in the back panel that can be used or tucking your monitor wires and whatnot back out the the way easier, but the hole drilled for it is just a tad big on mine, so the cap wont stay in unless I glue it...-That back panel piece is 1 solid piece and its heavy, so unless you're hulk, or Evel Knievel, you're not getting much beyond the lower section of this thing on a solo assembly. You'll need help!Overall, I cannot give this product less than 5 stars. After all, I don't want to chase potential buyers away from an EXCELLENT desk. I may have just gotten one that had a few minor issues with the pre-drilled holes. Otherwise, I love this thing as it fits nicely into my already crowded bedroom and gives me a nice place to study and have quietness for quizzes!

Awesome Desk
I am very happy with this desk. I actually bought 2, one for each of my kids. They were very easy for me to build, the shelves were the most complicated part, but I was still able to put both desks together by myself in just over 2 and a half hours. I did have a little trouble lining up the metal backings of the top shelves with their holes in the shelf post and back, but I solved this problem by attaching the backings to the particle board before attaching them to the posts. After I figured that out I had no issues assembling them the rest of the way. These are very sturdy for being press board, and they have a very spacious work area. In the past I have spent more money for lesser quality, and I didn't expect these desks to be as nice as they turned out to be. If you would like to free up floor area by creating vertical organization, this is a great option. I have two pretty spacious work areas for my kids, in one small room, and by getting corner desks with overhead shelves, I have actually made more open floor space in their bedroom.I love that they have a place for everything. I hate wires showing, and I love the fact that this unit has a solid back that allows the opportunity to hide wires behind a solid back. I believe the design is very appealing. I have actually considered another for myself now.I highly recommend this desk for many reasons. It is great quality for the price, it is decent size, its attractive appearance, its generous work and storage area.

Bigger than expected!
Let me just say that this was what I was looking for. Great corner desk, its absolutely twice as big as my previous desk which I have provided the picture. Had fun picking thru the items to install, so you will need patience!Directions:Installation instructions were definitely overwhelming, considering I love to put things together. The pictures for the screws are not actual size on the booklet, so don't guess. Luckily they are all pretty redundant on the installation after you have done "one level" of the desk. This is not a step by step instructions. It's per level installation. So you will have one page which it says step 1 with a bunch of screws and numbers and several things to install. More like 20 steps for page 1, surprise. Problem is, the numbers to the screws are not labeled like the tables and pillars are, so you will need a good set of eyes to make sure you are correctly using the right screws. Also, the connecting screws to the "next level" is a bit tricky since I've never really used them before. I wasn't sure how far to screw them in to leave room for the connecting table. Many of the screws use an allen wrench which was very tedious! Also if you screw one tighter than the other and unsure of the placement of the pillars you will have fitment issues moving on to the "next level", not too much but it can cause a domino effect and a headache. (i.e. the sliding keyboard).Look and feel:Well, this is where they lost a star. I was led to believe the upper pillars were chrome looking by the picture and would have an outstanding shine to it but it is all grayish looking which was a bit disappointing. I wanted to return it just because of that but I didn't want to waste more time in returns and delivery. They do have a metal feel to it, but if it was at least chrome dipped, this would have been amazing! The tables are wood with a black laminated feel on it. My hands were sweating from time to time leaving a mark but would instantly disappear or dry up quickly, maybe its waterproof, who knows. That hole where you supposedly put your wires thru, is ok. The attachment that you put there is useless because you can't fit anything thru it, I just pulled off the center piece and the outer part and placed it in there and looks much better. It tends to wobble a bit, maybe my floors are uneven, but the adjustment with the legs below fixed that issue, plus when you put everything on it, its pretty stable. That is a 23" Samsung monitor, fyi.Overall great product, definitely recommend to save space, instructions pretty vague, I suggest a chrome option. Hopefully the laminate doesn't start to bubble up and peel off.
