I just spoke to a company representative directly today and she said that they are waiting on an official vegan label to be applied but that they use no animal byproducts and that the paints are not tested on animals. So this is the most up to date answer that I could find. :)

You can use any acrylic paint on fabric. Buy fabric medium, available on Amazon, and mix it with the regular acrylic to make fabric paint.
