HIDEit Mounts Alien Wall Mount, Black Steel Made in USA Mount for Alienware Alpha, Wall Mount, VESA Mount or Under Desk Mount for Steam Machine Gaming PC

It is a simple, sleek design. My Alpha console fits great with just about 1/16" space on the mounting side where the screws go in. I mounted it horizontally under a desk so it slides in and out - without scratching - there is nothing to stop it from sliding out on the front, but it is held in by the cables on the back. It came unboxed in thick shrink wrap with the hardware inside (instructions, two sets of screws, one for drywall with plastic anchors and another set of small screws for mounting it to the back of a TV) I used my own screws.The first one I received was bent the seller immediately sent me a new one in perfect condition, no annoying hassles. My review is for the second one they sent me, which fits like a glove. I only subtract one star because the design would be better if there were a cross brace or something on the open side so it holds its shape better

I picked up a HIDEit mount for my Alienware Alpha because I needed a way to mount it behind my 65” TV (No TV stand). The mount came with drywall anchors and screws, along regular screws if I needed to mount it behind a VESA compatible monitor. I ended up using my own drywall anchors, because I wanted something more robust. The mount is perfectly made for the Alpha, as it has the correct openings for intake and fits like a glove. I didn’t have any issues removing the Alpha, so no scratches on the side of the unit. While the unit is a bit pricey, I think it was well worth the investment, and I’ll keep it as long as I own the Alpha. Installation was a breeze and I’m very happy with the final product.

Sturdy, true to size mount for an Alienware PC I used it to mount an Alienware PC under the bottom surface a desk, instead of having it sit on top. It is possible for the PC could slip out when mounted like this, so I used an additional screw into the desk to keep the PC from sliding out of the bracket.I waited for a price drop to $35.99 before buying, this would be a 5 star item to me if the normal price was $25-30, but at it's regular price of $41.99 I would want to see some kind of a locking/latching mechanism so the PC couldn't just slide out.Good item.

The bracket is very well made and arrived carefully packed. The metal is coated with a matte finish which gives it a premium, and at the same time understated look. Upon a quick check, the mounting holes lined up to my VESA stand perfectly (although I didn't mount it that way).My problem is with the design. Alienware Alpha is asymmetric - it has that bottom left front corner cutoff. The bracket has a cut off to match it, and it makes the bracket asymmetric too. The problem that it creates is that if you slide the Alpha into the bracket to line up with that cutoff, then when you mount it under the desk, you can only mount it upside down.

Needed a way to free up some desk space and this was what I needed! Installation was simple and the necessary hardware is included (aside from a screw driver). I did deduct a star due to the packaging. I disliked that the was just basically shrink wrapped because my mount got a little warped during shipping so I couldn't slide the Alienware Alpha console in. But, that was resolved just by bending the mount back into shape. I would have also liked to see some front clips/ fasteners to keep the Alpha console from moving as it does have a bit of glide action. Next order of business is to find a way to mount my portable external hard drive to the unit but maybe some straps will do the job.

This wall mount for the Alienware alpha or official steam box is fantastic. It does an exceptional job of holding up your console, and if you didn't know, it can even be reversible. Just look how I have mine, it's upside down, but works like a dream. Thanks again hideit mounts, you always come thru for me.

Fits snugly and it does have a stop at the back so there's no way this thing is sliding out. I really liked the box and the way it was packaged when it arrived. I mounting it underneath my desk top. Great design guys.

This thing for my Alpha like a glove and was extremely easy to put up on my wall. Im super happy with the results and there price for convenience and cleanness is worth every penny. Just my honest opinion.
