By far the best planner for school
By far the best planner for school! I love that there is a lot of lined space for each day of the week, I list classes at the top and assignment due dates and appointments near the bottom. My Saturdays and Sundays are busy too, so it's nice to have them included. I also like to list upcoming exams and due dates for the following week here as a reminder to get a jump start before the week begins. The cover is extremely durable and made of recycled materials. My planner from last year has held up nicely despite all the abuse it has been through in the last year. The front of the planner has a full calendar for the year with boxes large enough to use for writing in important dates and events. Unlike some planners, Doolittle includes the summer months, which was useful for my summer class assignments and appointments. Towards the back, the last few pages there is room to write down class schedules dates/times etc. There is a reference section for grammar, formulas, english/metric conversions that are helpful. For the price and the features, House of Doolittle's planner is my go to every year.

Useful planner
This is a really good academic planner, and it is the third time I have purchased one made by House of Doolittle. It does have a Recycled stamp on Wednesdays, but it isn't that big in my opinion. I uploaded a picture of what it looks like for people who are worried. It doesn't give a lot of room on Saturdays and Sundays, so if you have a lot of events that occur regularly on weekends, then this might not be the planner for you. Mostly, students will be the ones who use it to keep up with assignments, and I believe it has enough room on the week days.

recycling stamps
I purchased it and found out that another reviewer was right: the proof of recycling stamps takes some valuable space on Wednesdays.I guess it was made by environmentally crazed people, and it defeats the purpose: why would a normal person put the proof that paper was recycled on every page of a planner, and as a result leave a student less space to write down his Wednesday's homework? Why, in the world, to do it on every page, and not just once, somewhere on the cover, or on the first page?It is completely idiotic. I gave it two stars only. If it were without stamps, I would give it four stars, for a good value because eleven dollars is a good price these days.

Good Quality
This is a pretty good quality calendar, I wish the pages were a little thicker to keep my marks from showing through, but I just use pencil and it works fine. It is perfectly serviceable, and I like the quotes in the upper right corner.

I bought this planner because I like that it's recycled
I bought this planner because I like that it's recycled. But I honestly really like it. It has monthly calendars at the beginning, weekly space for writing in the middle, and some useful conversion units at the end. It also has space to fill in your schedule at the very end, which I'm thrilled about. And on the very last page is emergency contact information. I can't imagine anyone looking for it there, but it's convenient in any case.

House of Doolittle Academic Planners Do Well For Me!
I've used this since I started teaching 10 years ago; it's my go-to weekly academic year planner and calendar. I particularly like that the calendar runs for 13 months and a few days, from August through the first few days of the September of the next calendar year. Holds up quite well through daily use. I only wish they offered a range of cover colors to choose from, so I could change the color choice each year.

Are you kidding me??
I bought this calendar, because I have very similar one from them for 2013-2014 and like it a lot. This year is a huge disappointment, thou. Every page has a big stamp saying "RECYCLED Paper made from recycled material FSC C105969", recycle sign and 3 lines "100% Recycled", "100% Post Consumer Paper", "100% Made in USA".BTW, product image is not accurate and doesn't show this (shows only small recycle sign), so I'm going to return this calendar and shop for another one that doesn't remind we every week that it's RECYCLED and 100% of all these stuff. Not just for students
I haven't been a student for many years, but I love this planner and have bought one every year for several years now. There's more than enough writing room for each day of the week, the 5x8 size is great, I enjoy the quotes and word definitions for each week, and it uses recycled materials. If you're tired of fat-fingering your meetings and appointments on your smartphone, get this planner.
