Quality is OK but bags are small. This does not steep like tea leaves.

Love a tea bag in my coffee in the mornings!

The shipping was fast, and this is the best ginseng product I've tried so far. I bought several brands from amazon and in-store and they all have some sort of issues I don't like. I've been drinking this tea for about 5 days, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH from all aspects! I am not encaustic for leaving a product review, but this is one of those few products that truly impressed me from amazon and worth review for! PROS: They did a great job processing these ginseng roots in the State! The other brands' ginseng tea bags I've tried all have some kind of sand/dirt residue sink to the bottom of my cup, which I hated so much! After putting this brand's ginseng tea bag into hot water, I noticed that there is no sand/dirt kind of residue sink to the bottom of my glass cup at all. All the little pieces of ginseng roots look clean and taste great. More energy. I am noticing how my body feels less tired and have more energy after drinking it for several days, which some of the other brands I tried were not effective at all. I am a heavy coffee drinker, after drinking it for several days, I think I will slowly cut off my daily coffee intake and stick to this ginseng tea. Definitely a healthier choice! Great taste. I know the ginseng taste is not for everyone. But I love this tea bag's ginseng taste, somehow it has a nice and sweet after taste. I enjoy it a lot! Easy to carry. Each tea bag is very nicely sealed and packaged (not the crappy paper package). I usually put one in my lunch bag to work! CONS: I haven't found any cons to it yet. But I will definitely update again if I find anything I don't like about it. I will buy again for sure, and recommend this Baumann ginseng tea to my family and friends!

FYI: This tea tastes TERRIBLE. I am not sure how anyone could write a review and not mention the bad taste. It also smells terrible too when you get your nose close to it to get a sip. I made one cup and for sure will not be drinking anymore. This conveniently for the manufacturer and/or Amazon says no return. I am going to look into this. For $20.00 this is a complete rip off. Unbelievable. I hope that the manufacturer will do the ethical thing to refund me my money. 12/2024 update: After talking with a Bauman tea representative it was explained to me that the Ginseng tea has a taste that one has to become accustomed to.

First off, each teabag contains a large quantity of ginseng. Once it is soaked in hot water it really puffs up. I love that this is grown in the US using our agricultural methods instead of "who knows what" they do elsewhere. I'm sold on this company. I've seen an improvement with my health and like drinking this tea as a part of my weekly routine.

I drink a lot of tea. I have never tried American Ginseng....but if this is truly how it tastes, then I will never drink it again. When you pay $20 for a box of tea, you expect something special. I am generally not a dramatic person, but my dramatic side wants to say it tastes like drain cleaner. No, I I really haven't tasted drain cleaner, but you get the idea. When I took the first sip I immediately tasted a very chemical like and bitter taste. I am not sure how or why anyone would drink this stuff. I wish I could return it, but I am outside the return window by a lot because I didn't open it right away. The expiration date is Aug 2025.
