Not what I ordered, but I'll keep it any way
The saw blade was the right size and correct design, but the tooth count of the blade was not what was advertised nor was it what I ordered. The band saw blade I ordered was Bi-Metal, 64.5" in length, 0.5" wide, 0.025" thick with a 10/14 VARI TPI. The blade I received had everything right except it was a 14/18V TPI instead of a 10/14 VARI. The interesting part was that the identifying info on the package the blade was in had the TPI listed as 14/18V, and as can be seen in the picture, another sticker was applied to the package identifying the blade as a 10/14 VARI TPI. I called Olson Saw Company about this and they told me that per the Product Number (BM82264BL) on the package, the blade is a 14/18V TPI blade not a 10/14 VARI seen on the added sticker. They don't know who's mix-up this is. I can't rate it for value for money, longevity or durability because I just started using it, but I do know it won't work well on aluminum because the tooth count is too fine and it plugs with saw kerf.

Worth the extra money
This bi-metal blade is considerably faster on heavy material than a cheaper, smaller tooth, carbon steel blade. I think this Olson blade is a step up that's well worth the extra money.Saws that are small enough to use a 64 1/2" blade typically need all the help they can get when cutting 1/4" and 1/2" steel bars and mine certainly did on my most recent home project involving 5 x 6.7 steel channel and some 1/2" x 2 1/2" steel bars. I was dreading having to make cuts in the heavier material and was pleasantly surprised how quickly this saw blade cut given the small size of my metal bandsaw.I just ordered a smaller tooth version of this Olson blade to cut tubing with and won't go back to regular blades after using this bi-metal blade. It's faster, it cuts squarely and so far it hasn't shown any signs of dulling. The speed increase alone is worth the price in my opinion.

Not the best cut for your buck.
Have used different blades from various manufactures. Tried two of these. First blade cut true and lasted about 150 cuts of 1" square tubing 1/8" wall before breaking at the weld. Not bad but others have lasted longer. Installed second blade and it immediately hung up at weld and would throw the blade off tracking. Tried several times and slowly engaged blade but made loud thumping at weld. Noted the weld was not ground properly. Used a belt grinder and dressed the weld from both side. It worked fine after that but should not required on a premium blade. Reordering Starrett blades again.

Worst then my harbor freight blade
Don't understand why this product is getting so many good reviews unless I got a lemon but the weld joint on this blade is horrible it's so bad that every time it comes around it jumps on whatever I'm cutting I'm afraid that one of these times it's going to snap or grab the piece and ram it into the machine or worst-case into me, scary working with this blade

Only way to go
The Olson are the only way to go. I have been using them in my shop for over 10 years and have not yet been disappointed

Professional Shop likes these.
We here at Coyote Welding build cargo trailers and campers pulled behind motorcycles, so we cut up a lot of steel. These bimetal blades cut faster and last longer. They are the best. Amazons prices are the best we have found.

finally!
i have been using cheap blades from harbor freight and, while they get me through, i have been less than satisfied. this blade is about the same price but does a much better job. very satisfied so far.

Very good blade
I use these for cutting small stainless pieces. Been using them for years. I go through about 1 blade in two weeks, cutting a lot of stainless. I make stainless tools for reselling. Better than any blade I've used in this size for cutting stainless. Cuts are clean and consistent. Cutting mild steel is almost like cutting butter. These blades outlast regular blades by about 3 to 1.

Garbage.
Barely made it through 50 cuts in 1/2" mild steel. Blade did not track true and needed much fussing to get it to run right, but, when its the only one in the shop you gotta make it work. Ended up snapping, but, not at the weld. The weld was over-ground, so, I'm surprised it didn't snap there. Not at all happy.
