Amazing cleaner. I wish I had taken a before picture. I'm always skeptical of cleaners for stainless steel and copper, but this one is great. With some minor scrubbing with a nylon scouring sponge, 30 years of copper tarnish, caked in grease, and everything else has come, almost, completely off. There were a couple of really heavy spots that I didn't have time to soak and scouring, but the rest looks brand new. Did a great job on both the stainless and the copper. I am a big fan now. Even removed super glue that spilled and set in in my kitchen sink!

Use this, it does a great job. This product is much better than Made In Cookware - Stainless Steel Cleaner.

All I can say is, it works, easily! Removed a couple spots of rust that was starting on a stainless butter knife, and it worked fantastic on a pan my son cooked too high heat on with oil. I was happy it did, since we just got this set 2 months ago! The image that shows the baked on oil was after 2 or 3 good cleanings with soap and hot water and a lot of soaking. The other photo is of the amazing job BKF did just following the simple instructions - put a little water, put some powder, scrub with a cloth or sponge, rinse and wipe with a towel. One thing it didn't do as well was the outside/cooktop portion of the pan. The inside, well, it shines. The outside still has staining from the heat and oil splatters that burned onto the pan. It did get some of it off, but not all. Overall, I am very pleased with how it took care of the inside of the pan.

Great product. Absolute classic item that 3 generations of my family have used. No residue, no stains, no complaints.

Works great on stainless steel and glass

I don't know if it's my cooktop or my inexperience with stainless steel, but I always seem to get burn marks on the bottom and sometimes in the pans themselves. I've always raved about bar keepers friends other products, but I was skeptical about this. I was certain it would scratch my pots and pans. However, it actually brought back the shine and took off the black marks on the bottom of the pan left over from cooking. Making them look as good as new.

This stuff makes cleaning stainless steel cookware extremely easy. I have been using it on a nice set of commercial grade stainless and it removes all of the residue that standard dish soap misses. Whether it's polymerized oils, hard water deposits, oxide iridescence, unneeded fond, or the charred remains of what was once food, a little bit of this seems to remove it with minimal effort. It also does wonders on cleaning copper and other types of metals, but be aware that it is mildly abrasive and will leave very fine scratches on soft metals. If you haven't tried Barkeeper's Friend for cleaning stainless steel yet, do your self a favor and pick up a container to try. I will be continuing to order more of this when I eventually need to restock my cleaning supplies. The one negative that I have to point out it is the container that it comes in. It's not resealable, so once you open it, the top is open forever. I ended up pouring it into a separate shaker container that closes so that I don't have to worry about spilling it.

I made the rookie error of trying to wipe water off of a ripping hot stainless steel pan with a polyester towel, burning bits of the towel onto the pan. I thought there was no hope, but barkeeper's friend works wonders. It took some elbow grease, but a healthy amount of powder got all the burnt plastic off of the surface of the pan. I've tried the powder on a few different types of stains now from burnt oil to the dirty bottom side of pans and it's exceptional stuff. I think the powder is better value for money, and with this much powder you don't have to feel afraid of going heavy if you have something pretty stubborn. Overall, big fan.

Cleans everything from stainless steel pans

Excellent product.

I was told about this product so I gave it a try to clean a burnt pot. However, what I had to do was leave it on until the next day. It didn't leave my pot shiney and clean after scrubbing but I was impressed how much it did remove. Better than other methods and products I had already tried using to clean the pot. It saved my pot from being tossed out. .
