My favorite pocket knife.
It is the perfect size and it's a high quality knife.

Tough to open with thumb stud but still a winner
Thumb stud opening next to impossible with one hand. If I’m going to use two hands to open the blade I don’t need the thumb stud so it’s gone ... so is the pocket clip (I think it resting on the lock bar added to the opening problem). Much better!... a week later, bumped my review up to 4-star. I’ve enjoyed carrying this little knife in the watch pocket of my jeans. Slim blade, smooth opening, secure frame lock, overall thickness is reduced by avoiding liners to the scales, the shape of the blade reduces the risk of my stabbing myself, I even like the feel of the scales (one side G10, the other, with the lock bar, is steel). With a lifetime collection of pocket knives, this one is moving up in rank among favorites.BTW, the problem with the thumb stud might be its location ... too close to the pivot. Even with thumb stud & pocket clip gone, the blade is difficult to open if I grab it at the position of the thumb stud. With each fraction of an inch that I move away from the pivot, unsurprisingly, opening the blade becomes easier. As a two-handler, opening the blade at midpoint is very smooth. I like this knife! I have several knives by Richard Rogers: each is unique, thoughtfully designed, and a pleasure to use.

Looks great and comfortable!
This is a very nice knife up and down. Decent sharp and beautiful but trying to open the darn this with one hand (using the thumbscrew) is next to impossible. When opening the first few millimeters it is very tight and stiff, after that is swings open fast. Closing is also a little bit of an issue as soon as the liner lock is released it just swings free no resistance and might just cut me if im not careful. I tried tightening and also loosening the main screw nothing seamed to work. Guess its a two hand folder for now.

One-handed open is possible but takes practice. Otherwise my favorite!
The media could not be loaded. I love this knife and just bought my second after losing my first. It's the exact form factor I was looking for--extremely slim, lightweight, and discrete, but also super sharp, durable, and handy. I've had a few EDC unassisted knives before and this one is definitely not as easy to open with one hand, I think because of the geometry that results from the slim form factor. It took me a lot of practice and even a bloody nailbed, but it was worth it. The key is a light grip and a very quick flick. In other words, "it's all in the wrist." I guess that one benefit is that once you can use the flick with this knife, any other knife will be easy. It's not too difficult to close one handed.UPDATE: I've found that it does get harder to open with one hand over time and that a drop of light oil fixes it, but that it needs to go on the notched spring that holds it closed on the back of the handle back, not just the hinge.

DO NOT BUY THIS KNIFE
It’s a five star product if your just looking for something to buy and then throw in the trash. This is the worst engineered knife I have ever experienced. It doesn’t work properly it’s hard to open and impossible to open with one hand. One side of it is metal and the other side is plastic which is just embarrassing. I used to really like the company and have a few of their knives but it’s time to go ahead and move on to someone who is taking it seriously. I tried to modify it to get it to be workable and it just got worse leading up to it causing me to injure myself. I smashed it to bits after and threw away the pieces which is the most use I got out it.

Nice two handed pocket knife
I like the feel and the weight of this knife especially in my pocket. The pocket clip is nice but I find myself just dropping it into my pocket. I gave this knife a lower rating because as a flipper knife it's a fail. I cannot open this using just one hand. Either the spring load is too strong or the thumb stud is in the wrong place on the blade. I find that I would rip my skin off my thumb before I could get this blade to flip using only one hand. Nice blade shape and handle feels good. I will probably remove the thumb stud, use this as a two handed opener, and probably enjoy it even more.

Great blade, can stand on the table when open, barely noticable in the pocket.
I like this pocket knife. The slim profile is barely noticeable in a pocket while it can be open easily and used as needed without the necessity of closing, it. Use primarily to cut boxes open and other small things. Recommend
