Mini Shortwave Radio,Digital,4-1/8" H

This is one great radio that has stood the test of time. Great band coverage and plenty of station storage. A bit of a learning curve, but study the manual and watch the many, many YouTube videos for this radio. You'll be very pleased you bought this gem! My only negative is that the great case that protects the radio makes it difficult to deploy the extended antenna because of the location of attachment to the radio. I run mine with rechargeable AA batteries and work great. A truly 5 Star radio!

I bought the second one after thoroughly checking out the first one.They arrived:- In a sealed box (does not look like it was resealed or a return)- Sticker on the box said "new"- Complete- No blemishes or scratches or fingerprints- I tested almost every function and band - fully functional.So, if you wanted an Eton Elite Executive radio but not willing to pay the typical retail price then this item is a no-brainer. Go for it.

It's the real deal. Comparing it to my XHDATA D808 I would say this has better reception on all bands but AIR. Really pleased with the quality for fifty bucks. Glad I took the chance on it. I wish it was 18650 with USB C but that's nitpicking. It takes a small barrel style connector and 4AA which if you use NiMH you can recharge them with the ac adapter.

I am disappointed with my purchase of this radio. Similar and lesser-quality radios I own pull-in FM stations that the Eton Executive Elite struggles to receive. The sound quality of the Eton also leaves a lot to be desired when compared to small radios with speakers of the same size or smaller. The Eton Executive Elite sound has a harsh, tinny quality that is offputting. This might be my experience, but I do not see myself using this radio for FM listening. AM news/talk, however, seems fine. Take your chances if you wish, but one can do better with radios of similar size and features. For example, the Qodosen DX-286 has far better reception and sounds infinitely better even though it has a smaller speaker. I opted to keep the Eton as I will occasionally use it for AM broadcasts. Your mileage may vary.

Based on the cheap price I doubted that this would be an Eton Executive Elite, but having received it I can confirm that it is the genuine article. That said, I would not pay over $100 for this radio. It's on par with the Tecsun PL-330 or the XHData D-808 that are both under $100.

I believe the radio is a good one. Unfortunately mine had a skipping frequency problem and had to be returned.

Zero defects observed. This was the second Eton Executive Elite radio I bought in Amazons “refurbished” condition category and both came with the complete original box, instructions and power supply. I own a few other top end shortwaves and both of these checked out. The price was almost a third of the new condition price found on other Amazon listings/sellers.
