How hot do these get? Risk of melting plastic lens or the bulb holder?

They barely get warm, I can't imagine these melting anything. BTW, the "warm-white" version bulbs are a bit on the amber spectrum of white light, compared to other warm-white LED bulbs, but still completely useable.

It is mentioned that the bulb diameter is 0.35”, how come it is T10?

This bulb is very close to the same size as a 194 incandescent bulb. The wedge that plugs into your socket is the same as a 194 as well. I don't know why they call it a T10. It's diameter is not that large.

does it have an LED chip on both sides or only one?

Both sides. Pretty good little bulbs.

mine were not dimmable. I put them in my gauge cluster, when i turn the knob to dim them the barely dim, but then turning the knob half way they completely shut off. So I do not get any real gradient of dimming. In that regard they do not work like incandescent bulbs
