I recently redid my bathtub with the refinishing kit and the base of the tub was super slick. I read on multiple sites that I would need to use a special floor mat but decided to use this product. It was easy to use. Be sure to watch the videos on application a few times before starting. The product is easy to work with but hard to fix if you mess up.

Very easy . I used after using ekopel refinishing kit. I had a spot at the outside base of my tub that I used some extra to repair. The color matches the regular ekopel 2k and the grit is not noticeable in the repaired portion but it is at the base of the tub and gives enough grip to not need a mat. Mine came with a roller but no mixing stick so check before starting.

So called Non-slip is really same Ekopel with some crumbs and black dots ( not there before, tub was squeaky clean white) that do not create non-slip at all. Used per instructions with new rollers and I got large chunks , even when you keep bath temperature as directed etc etc. None of us are idiots that we can't use as direction says. Nevertheless, IT WILL NOT GET YOU WHAT YOU THINK IT WILL HAPPEN AS ADVERTISED. Yes, folks another false claim even in the name of the product. Anyway, after several back-and-forth messages, and putting the blame on me first, they finally refunded the money only for so called Non-Slip. Still, my tub is Not Non-Slip with Ekopel. On actual Ekopel 2k product, I also have something to say. STAY AWAY! It will turn out the way they advertise in their videos. Each kits was of different quality and amount, it took me 5 coats to get it decent not right.So, folks, hire pros that spray with real bonding chemicals and be done with it. Otherwise, proceed with caution. You will loose time, money and your mind, no matter how handy you are.

This is a very good product provided you do the prep work well. Prep is 80% of any success you have. Having said that you have to be aware that no warranty is offered because you are dealing in an imperfect and varied set of conditions. Start with the idea it's NOT going to be perfect and you may be pleasantly suprised. I have two issue that are worth knowing about: 1. The directions are OK, but could probably be a little more detailed. 2. If you use the non-slip kit, Ekopel suggests you tape off the area you want to make non-slip. I would highly reccomend NOT using tape and simply roll it on freehand. My reasoning is I mistakenly used masking tape and it pulled up some of the smooth coat that goes down first. My fault entirely, but I have seen painter's tape do the same thing on other projects. Just my opinion, but it might save you some trouble down the line. Either way, I ordered another non-slip kit to cover my mistakes and hopefully that fixes my blunder. Overall a very good product that's pretty easy to use.

Purchased two kits. Did one tub worked great. But the second tub kit didn't setup right. Emailed them and they sent me out another kit right away. Great customer service and tec service.

The product (Non-slip kit) was the first thing that I ordered before I ordered the kit to refinish my bathtub. When I received it the first time the part B (Hardener) bottle was only 1/3 full. I thought it leaked. I called the company and they told me that it should have not come like that. They were going to send me a new bottle and I may have received it but I didn't know where I placed it. I ordered this kit and when I received it the bottle was only 1/3 full. I now assume that they mislead me in telling me that it should have been fuller. I am not mad with them but I am disappointed that who I talked to mislead me on how much should have been in the bottle (It was one of the founders). I refinished my bathtub and I posted a previous review which was excellent. The bathtub came out perfect and the product performed exactly as shown in their videos. YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE TEE AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY. WATCH THE VIDEOS (I WATHCED 3 TIMES BEFORE i DID IT). EVERY STEP WAS AS ADVERTISED AND I AM SURE THE NON-SLIP KIT WILL WORK AS WELL. THEIR PROCEDURES HAVE CHANGED OVER TIME SO WATCH ALL OF THE VIDEOS AND GLEAN SOME FROM EACH ONE.

This product was easy to use. There was enough product to cover a 16x30 inch tub area, and it did a good job of covering up permanent stains. However, there was not enough grit in it to make it non-slip, which is why we purchased it.

Our shower floor was smooth and slippery when water is on floor. I had used this product for refinishing a bathtub with fantastic results. So I bought this and finished my floors. Contains fine sand to provide non-slip coating. It is still a good idea to have grab bars.
