Great for rainy days
I thought this might be too big for a rebel and look stupid but wanted a little bigger than the small givi screen for protection in the wind and rain so gave it a try and it’s great. It shakes a little at higher speeds but can live with that as at 5ft it the wind goes straight over my head and the screen keeps my front dry in the English weather.

Great windshield
Looks great and simple to install but a little too short to keep the wind off my wife’s helmet and she is 5’3”.

Quality item
Easy and quick mounting 10 min install. Relieves wind pressure from chest area and lower helmet during long and fast rides. Can get a little stuffy during hot summer days.

It does not fit a Honda SCL500
I had to hammer fit the brackets they're designed for a Rebel 500. I had to bend the flat. But once I flattened them out it went on fairly easily. And looks pretty good. Sturdy

Great product - works perfectly
Easy assembly and setup. Cuts down wind and sudden drafts considerably. Stylish. Putting it on took at most 20-25 minutes and the instructions were easy to follow. I’d recommend this product to anyone looking for a wind screen for their bike.

Great product, has downsides but not because of quality
Like you, I read many reviews looking to sway my judgment on whether to buy this windshield. There were two main concerns that seemed most common:1) increased wind noise/buffeting due to wind hitting helmet2) being too tall and potential height issuesFor 1), from my test runs I've just done, I can attest that the wind noise actually improved with this windshield. Especially past 120 km/h. There are probably two reasons for the reviews that complain of this.. Either 1) their windshield was not angled properly (needs to be as far forward as possible, not angled back) or 2) because of the decreased noise down low, the noise up top on the helmet seems more noticeable. I tested this by tucking, sitting normally, and standing on the pegs. The noise was quietest tucking behind the shield, then while sitting I could tell the wind was hitting the top 3/4 of the helmet which introduced wind noise which at first seemed loud, but then I realized it was only because the wind wasn't coming from the bottom and it made it seem more noticeable. Standing on the pegs was identical to not having the shield at all and I can tell you it's the loudest. I was also able to adjust the angle of the shield while riding and could intentionally create buffeting when pulling the shield back, so having it as far forward is key.For 2), I'm 6 feet tall and all torso. I had no issues with buffeting or any of that sort, and it worked incredibly well at high speeds. And for me, this was it's only downside.. That it worked too well. It was actually able to block so much wind from hitting my torso, I started noticing that I was overheating and sweating under my jacket. Something that was never an issue before. So in summary, if you travel the highway a lot, this thing works incredibly well. If you like getting slapped in the face by wind, or don't like the windshield styling, it's probably not for you.
