Wyandotte: The Story Of A Namesake 1649-1818

Hey! I found my grandfather here!
I really enjoyed it, especially finding my ancestor's name on the letter the Wyandot chiefs wrote to the President. I've never seen his name spelled that way although phonetically there is no mistake it is him. In prior researches I had not read so many of the details about the Wyandots in Michigan so it was very interesting to learn more facts. And by finding Tsoon-Dow-E-No on the letter it reinforces my suspicion that he was part of the Michigan contingent and then afterwards removed to Sandusky. Thanks! My only suggestion is that I wish you would have included the year when referencing external party quotes (in bold within the chapters). Some of the quotes are from contemporaries during the 1800's while others were just made recently.

Interesting read
People living in or near Wyandotte will find this an interesting read, even more so if the readers have French and native American ancestors who lived in the area during the years covered by this small book.
