Works Great!
Ordered the to assist my struck in handling my truck camper. These were referred by a friend and they work GREAT. Easy install and well worth the cost.

A good choice for sagging rear of truck.
This took care of my sagging rear when I had to put a lot of weight on the front of my trailer when hauling my tractor and mower. It kept my truck level. I was considering air bags, but I didn’t want be bothered with air and the possibility of a bag going bad. They were easy to install. I’m pleased with the performance. When riding empty you don’t know they are there.

Great product great customer support!
I purchased these for my 2019 Chevy Silverado. Initially I was confused by the size of the bolts included in the kit but after communicating with Steve from Timbren customer support and he sent me a new set of bolts to make sure I had the correct ones. I was able to easily remove the factory jointed snd install the Timbrens. The fit great and provide that extra support I wanted so the truck does not sag with my enclosed trailer and boat trailer. Thank you to Steve and Timbren for a great product.

Works as described
I received these today and installed them in about 30 minutes. Most of that time was taken in lifting each side of the truck. I would say it was a very easy installation. I went for a test drive and on smooth to mostly smooth roads there was no degradation in the ride quality; however, the second I went over a speed bump or deeper gutter or something like that you could tell the difference - they hit hard (as expected). I pull a 33 ft/7500 lb (fully loaded) travel trailer several times a year and this year also purchased a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT w/ Max Trailering package (nht). This truck has plenty of power for the trailer and all gear but for some reason - even after fine tuning a new equalizer brand WDH - it squats a bit with the load of the full trailer (no squat with empty trailer). I've taken all weights and am well within all load limits (payload, max tongue weight, GVWRs, GCVWR, max trailer weight, etc). I'm hoping these Timbrens will solve this problem. I'll find out in a couple of days as we are about to go out again this weekend. Crossing my fingers!

Set it and forget it.
Easy install. The day before they came i sprayed some pb blaster in the opening. 10mm socket for the old ones and 17mm for the timbren. I used hand tools and found its easier to take a tire off by doing that you dont have to lay on the ground. Took maybe 25min . Towing and 31 foot TT and dont like the whoops in the road. Update put about 300mi hauling the tt bosters & work great definitely a little stiffer while under load. Only time I feel them without load are speed bombs of shitty roads.. body real is much less while I lift alot.. If you have the money for high end air bags thats a better choice. For me, these are install and forget ZERO Maintenance..

Quick install on 2016 Silverado
Total time to install was less than 30 min from the time I jacked up the truck to removing the jack. Easy install that makes a major difference with hauling any weight in the truck. No noticeable difference in ride quality until I load up the truck, then the truck handles much better with more stability in turns than with the stock bumpers. Good upgrade for the money spent.

Poor quality
First ordered parts and had to wait a week longer then expected , then get notice from carrier stateing order being held for me to come pickup at carrier fascility , instead of shipping to my home . Then when installing bolts give u lowest grade of bolts they can instead of 2 grade 8 bolts . And go to put them on and while tightening them down break in half cause to wimpy , I mean if I pay $ xxx.xx for something at least give quality parts to use instead of junk . Very unhappy and dissatisfied customer

Top quality and simple install. I have these on two vehicles now and they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

Installed on my 2017 Sierra 1500. Got them to help handle hauling my sled around in the box as well as towing my enclosed trailer and travel trailer. Needed the optional spacer kit as I have a 2.25 readylift block in the rear. Ended up with about 1.4 inch gap unloaded(recommended 0.5 to 1.5 gap). Used the 1 inch spacer included with that spacer kit. Rides like stock when empty and handles fantastic when loaded. More stable in the corners and confidence inspiring over bumps. Pretty much feels like a 2500 when loaded. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I bought these for my 2018 Chev Silverado 1500 - we are towing around 8000lb and the original suspension was shockingly bad, springy & bouncy... They were very easy to install, and make a huge difference when towing the RV. Practically nil sag, feels firm on the road but allow for a certain amount of suspension movement so that it does not feel solid, and overall a much safer drive. HOWEVER...... when i don't have the trailer/RV attached (which is 90% of the time), there is about a 2inch gap between the Timbrens and the chassis, that are supposed to allow the truck to bounce on its factory suspension before it engages the Timbrens, but more often than not, when you drive on road surfaces that are not super smooth.... the timbrens will slap the chassis with a bit of a thud as the suspension bounces, It's not all the time..... but you get a real solid slap when they do meet. I'm going to give them another season, but I am considering swapping over to the SumoSprings as they are attached top and bottom... no gaps.... no solid slaps .. The Timbrens are excellent value for the money, don't get me wrong, but unless your lugging loads every day, it feels sore on the truck !
