My favorite shampoo and conditioner EVER!!!! After switching to clean, nontoxic and cruelty free beauty products, I first bounced around the healthy shampoo and conditioner brands from my local stores. Like Shea Moisture. I have tried most of their hair products and most of them ended up being too moisturizing for my hair. A lot of them contain cocoa butter and I have acne prone, oily, combination skin. So cocoa butter is too heavy for my skin and hair. I also have fine hair as well. Shea Moisture does have a few shampoos and conditioners that do not contain cocoa butter or any comedogenic ingredients but they were still a bit too heavy. I’d say if I could not use these Andalou shampoo and conditioners, I would use Shea Moistures charcoal and ginger shampoo or any one that does not contain comedogenic ingredients. I love this shampoo and conditioner by Andalou because it does not contain any comedogenic ingredients and it also contains lactic acid which is perfectly, lightly exfoliating and has all kinds of benefits for hair and skin!!! It is The only non toxic shampoo that I have tried that leaves my hair squeaky clean and not oily feeling. The conditioner is also perfectly light for my fine hair but still moisturizing enough and adds nice (non greasy) shine! My hair is also much more manageable when I use this shampoo and conditioner. I’ve purchased this duo 3 times now and have been using them for months. They also smell good, like oranges with a little lemon but don’t linger on my hair!!! I dislike any hair or body product with strong fragrances. I get bad headaches from perfumed products and candles. I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner to everybody but if you have course, dry hair you may want to only get the shampoo and get a heavier conditioner. Like Shea Moistures argan conditioner which is lovely and very hydrating.

The shampoo has a great scent and lathers well enough if you thoroughly saturate your hair before applying. As some others have stated, this seems to be more for normal to oily hair, It cleans well and leaves a nice scent, but my hair, which is dry to normal feels slightly "stripped" after shampooing. Think "squeaky clean".As for the conditioner, I do like the scent...before it is applied to my hair. The strange thing is that after I apply it to my hair, I detect the slight scent of fish. It seems to go away after a minute or so or maybe I get use to it, but it happens every time. It's not really bad, but definitely strange. It is a light conditioner, meaning it doesn't make my hair weighed down nor does it get rid of the frizzy ends of my hair. I do work outside for a living, so it isn't entirely the conditioners fault. I believe if you have normal to slightly oily hair, it would work better for you.To sum up, I love the scent and like the shampoo better than the conditioner, but feel that I need something stronger for frizz control and sun protection.

I really love the scent of this shampoo and conditioner, it is clean smelling and not strong. It adds shine and softness to my coarse, wavy hair.

I have VERY hard water, and my scalp gets dry and itchy. I have tried countless shampoos, this one is the best by far. I have to use a lot more than recommended to get good suds, but that is hard water for you. Nice natural ingredients

Love the scent. The lather isn’t great. I’ve used it a few times and each time no matter how much product or how wet my hair is the lather is minimal. I do live in a dry climate with hard water so that could contribute.

I just got this shampoo and conditioner a few days ago so I haven't used it yet. I'm not sure how it will work for my hair but I do like the scent. It has a light Citrus scent so it doesn't bother trigger my Asthma.

We like this brand and have used the rose and the sunflower so far.

Everyone who has it knows that white/grey hair doesn't like to shine. This shampoo and conditioner made mine shine. I love the scent, too. If I had any complaint at all it would be that my hands are very arthritic and I find it hard to work the conditioner out of the bottle. It's worth the struggle for clean smelling, shining hair.
