It's taken me 3 1/2 years to write this belated review, but I've decided I have to let others know what a good product the Gotham Men's Gun Metal Ultra Thin Pocket Watch is. I have used this watch everyday for said period of time and it has performed flawlessly, keeping accurate time and requiring only one battery change over all these years. If you're not a wristwatch wearer (and I'm not) you'll really appreciate the Gotham Watch Company's timepiece. And if you're an avid hiker like me you'll be happy to carry this lightweight ultra slim watch. I've had heavy, bulky pocket watches in the past that felt cumbersome and unwieldy, but this Gotham watch is ideal. When you purchase it the company also gives you a fine chain to attach to the watch.If you want a handsome, reliable pocket watch to carry with you each day the Gotham Pocket Watch is the product for you.

My husband has been using it for 2 months and really likes it. Much more professional looking than his previous watch and the face is holding up (no scratches). Light weight, thin and doesn't bulk up in pocket. Could be engraved and gifted.

If you like “pocket stuff” like I do this might be for you. It is almost a fidget for me. I own a few wrist watches and may only carry this once in a while just because I have it. I haven’t had it very long so I cannot comment on durability. The face is large and numbers are easy to read.

After one nice-looking but inaccurate pocket watch purchase in recent months, I came across this Amazon offering which has delighted me. This slim, clean, clearly marked quartz pocket watch is a delight. Marketed as a "Railway Style" pocket watch, it truly is reminiscent of the clean lines of the pocket watches that U.S. railroads long demanded their employees carry and maintain. The stem is at the 12-O'clock position.This watch keeps perfect time (for the three weeks I have carried it) and is very easy to read. The gray steel case and matching chain work well whether carried in my jeans watch pocket or in a vest. The simple grabber on the bitter end easily slips onto the waist band or the edge of my vest for a secure carry. This watch is a personal keeper as well as a great time-peeper.

Very clear face with large numbers easy to see in dim light. I carry it in my pocket with keys, change, a small pocket knife and so far I can detect no scratches on the very clear face. I have not checked the time displayed but without having reset it I find it in agreement with my home clocks -- close enough to exact time for my leisurely ways.Over all a very neat, efficient, clear and useable pocket watch.

I bought this to replace a pocket watch that I purchased at another website and promptly fell apart. The first watch came with a nice braided leather cord and leather pocket. I decided to keep the pocket and cord from the first (crappy) watch, and replace the actual watch with something more durable. I chose this as it had an easy to read face and was the correct size. The watch looks and works great and has been quite durable. No complaints.

Bought this watch for my wife so she can attach it to her purse. She can't wear a regular wristwatch because of lymphedema & allergy issues. This watch so far is doing the trick, can read it at a glance and keeps perfect timing. My wife really likes it.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about the watch and Amazon's customer service. This is a very handsome watch with a watch chain. It is even prettier that the picture shows. The gun metal finish is great and the dial is clear and very legible. This watch keeps perfect time to within the second. It was bought as a gift and the recipient is thrilled with it.
