Forget about expensive Apple mini-laptops, or big screen Dells, because the value for your money, this is the one. I have never been so happy to own a mini-laptop. The battery lasts a month, the camera imagines are awesome, the microphone and sounds are great, it is faster than my desktop computer, and the wifi works very well. For less than $200 dollars (+tax), I would not buy anything else --although I haven't tried others yet? -- but why would I? This is perfect. The keyboard is very nice, the screen big enough, lightweight. I tell you, I had a mini-Acer before, and I was very happy with it, but this one is the cream of the crop. Perfect for traveling purposes and quick works abroad.

This model only has one USB port on the left side it would be quite a bit better if there was a additional USB on the right side

This is absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. It's small enough that I can leave it out on my coffee table for quick browsing or watching youtube. It does absolutely everything I expected it to do and have no regrets in buying it. I love the speed of it....it's very very responsive.

This is my 3rd Chromebook & my 2nd Acer. Very pleased with performance. Like the fact that it has more internal memory (ROM) & that it has 2 additional USB ports. Downside for me is that it only accepts micro SD cards. My scanner uses only the large card & I peraonnal don't like the image quality on the small card. That said I would certainly buy this Chromebook again as I solved the above problem with a add on chip reader.

I just needed an easy, lightweight extra computer to have with me, rather than taking my nicer laptop. This sits in my briefcase and when I need it it's easy. I can join a meeting or do some research or shop, without being stuck to my 4 inch screen on my phone, or worrying about getting to my office space just to get some work done. Very convenient - feels well made - and the nice price.

The Acer Chromebook 311 is everything I need. Webcam is clear in picture and sound to chat with family and friends. Has built-in virus protection, updates automatically. Has a long battery life, up to 10 hours. The perfect screen size of 11.6" making it easy to travel with yet large enough to stream shows and movies. Easy for following social media. I love it!

Got this for my elderly mother, to replace an older model that suddenly decided that the letters "t" and "y" were no longer necessary. After fooling around with it I decided to upgrade my old Acer CB as well. Our use is pretty basic. Websites, email, the occasional YouTube clip. I'm a newspaper reporter, and I write all my copy and upload photos. No gaming or anything like that. So for these basic purposes a Chromebook is fine, and this one is good value.

I live in the UK and ordered 2 of these for my grandchildren, who live in Canada to do their school work on as they had to share their mums laptop. They are very happy with them and they have made their learning and gaming so much easier. Great product and delivered in 2 days.
