Got these for my tropical bathroom that has a shower curtain with gold leaves. The gold didn’t look all that gold to me so I ordered the ones labeled toast. Beautiful colors and very good quality. Nice and thick.

I purchased four of these seven years ago, and they are still in perfect condition. They are not plush, thick, cushy, soft, or luxurious, and they weren’t meant to be. They are simple, absorbent, and after seven years and many, many washings, I know they are very durable. No picks, tears, hanging threads or unraveling. They look as nice as when I first purchased them. And what I love most about them is that they have never smelled like mildew. They dry quickly, unlike thick, plush mats.

These mats are thick and soft and absorbent, as we had hoped. In one location there is less floor space, so we double it over and it works fine. People may be disappointed or surprised if they do not expect a towel-like surface and feel, but that's what we wanted so no problems there.BUT good grief the color photo on Amazon (of "Taupe") is nothing like the mat that arrived here. The photo looks like a genuine taupe, somewhat dark and halfway between tan and grey. Forget it, the mats in person are much lighter colored and much more in the brown/tan color spectrum.We usually do not bother trying to match things up but we thought we'd try it for a change, getting these mats to match some towels already here that look exactly like the photo color. Well thanks Amazon for messing up that plan!I thought about sending them back but what a lot of trouble, since we'd be trying to find some other color to at least "complement" the towels, and would have no confidence in any other color swatch on this page. So here they stay. They have been washed and came out just fine, and it's not like they look horrible -- they just don't look like what we thought we were buying, and this is a case where the color really matters. 4 stars for the fabric, the usefulness and for taking a wash without problems. Minus one star for the total color mismatch and disappointment. Honestly if they did not feel as good on our feet I'd take off two points for the color, but this seems reasonable.

These are really nice. They are heavy and have body--they are certainly not "cheap" quality--they are high quality. The size is ample and as a matter of fact, I keep mine folded in half to hang over the shower door handle. They wash and dry like a dream. I got the blue and it is perfect. I remember as a child growing up, we had a white one in our bathroom just like this. It's funny that something like this would take me back to simpler time. Highly recommended.

I purchased these because my bathroom was recently remodeled and the theme is Medusa with colors of black and gold. Unfortunately, yesterday I washed them for the first time and one is already fraying with a hole. So I’ll have the throw it. Waste of money. I would not recommend or purchase again.

When my brother added a black bath mat to his Christmas list, I jumped on Amazon. (I figured any attempts in nearby stores would be futile, especially in mid-December.) I found this set, ordered, and received lightning fast (yay Amazon and Prime!). I was very pleased with the quality and price (and a set of 2 - always good to have a back-up !). So, I ordered a set in light blue for us. The blue is a beautiful color, the size is generous, the sculpted design is attractive, the fabric is nice and thick, and these machine wash (I use a hot or warm water wash w/ detergent and bleach for towels and mats) and dry just fine. I would not hesitate to purchase again for myself or as a gift.

Even after considering color difference on monitor but compared to what I am using for towels I thought I could except the difference. No I can not. The color is much different and I run high end display and video card, tuned. When you get these you will think you got the wrong color. These are in the Magenta family. Bright and pinkish. The look like a quality floor towel in the package that I will not even open. I knew they would be lighter than the dark burgundy towels I bought that should have been labeled Merlot. These at least looked to be in the burgundy family. They are not. Buy your bath towels and floor towels from the same company as far as I am concerned, now.

These are beautiful cotton towel rugs. The sapphire blue is a stunning color.
