For those who have plastered walls.The only solution is to buy special plaster bolt anchors or very long bolts that can go through the bridge, plastered wall and concrete behind it and screw a few additional large screws for extra support. Also, to keep in mind that it is not a 100% solution, plastered walls don't provide enough support, it's all about the wall behind plaster.I came up with an idea to also buy separate long planks of wood (cut them as needed) and attach it with angle brackets under the bed and to the floor for support. Works well and sturdy enough to hold cats weight. I built an entire cat wall with various cat beds, bridges and platforms this way.Finally, to hide naked wooden planks. I bought a 14mm decking cord and wrapped around wooden planks. A cat can scratch or claim it. Since its a quite thick rope, no glue is needed, keep it tight, and screw ends to the plank. Depending amount of wooden planks used you might want to buy a lot of rope, 10m of 14mm rope will cover approximately 70-80cm of your 4x4 cm wide wooden plank.50m of such rope will cost £30-40, semi-expensive project. However, you don't have to do it all at once if you are interested in it, can be a long term one.

Looks good but after 6 months (longer than some reviews) it has just snapped whilst my cat was on it. I now have holes in my wall and no cat bridge. Rubbish, cheap ‘wood’My cat only weighs 4.5kg so really not that big

DO NOT buy this it’s absolute rubbishWhen it came as we tried to screw it together the wood was splitting. We managed it eventually . Only to have to break two days after installation . My cats are at the biggest of them 5kg . Its over priced for the Quality or should I say lack of, the wood is cheep and brittle . Amazon were not very helpful about replacing or refunding . Considering I’d just finished redecorating my lounge and told customer service I wasn’t sitting with holes in my lounge wall while waiting for a replacement , which if it’s as poor as the original won’t do. I insisted on them sending another one . So I can make one good one from what is a really poor quality item . Really really not happyDon’t buy it

Fitted this to the bed so my senior cat who has arthritis can greet us more easily. If he jumps up off the bottom step it wobbles a bit as it is only screwed in to wood with regular screws. It's held up so far but it is a concern. Apart from that it is an attractive piece of wood work and should fit in nicely to any room.

It looks nice and the car likes it but it did not come with wall fixings

When unboxed all the wood stank horrible I think it was the paint they used, cheap? It stank even from other rooms strong wasn't pleasant lasted 2 days however I like the sturdiness of the actual bridge and rope but the 3 supports are useless for cats 5kg or above

Its absolutely poor quality. It broke within the first two days of being up, as the wood split.Requesting a refund as my cats cannot use it!

Perfect for my 9 months kitten, but the 1 year old clearly wasnt light enough and fell off the wall whilst she was on it (both bengals)
