My husband is very sensitive to smells, it activates his asthma. I have to use unscented products so he doesn’t have an attack. This product makes my hair feel clean, soft, shiny and he doesn’t feel like he’s dying every time I was my hair

Good products, gentle on the scalp. Shampoo doesn’t sud up much, especially if your hair is more oily. But it works and gets the hair clean. I don’t feel like these products do much other than just clean. I mix a mask with the conditioner because it doesn’t soften my hair as much as I want it to just by itself.

So for some reason, I've suffered through some extreme scent aversions for eight months of pregnancy before buckling down and spending the whopping $15 these items cost...wow. I wish I'd bought them back in month one! They do have a very slight scent, but it's baby shampoo-ish and very pleasant. I spent tons of money on other scented shampoos, trying to find a scent that wouldn't make me cringe or throw up while in the shower (not so relaxing), and these are it. And my hair, which is normally dry and pretty picky as far as responding well to cheap shampoos and conditioners, has been loving this stuff. shiny and soft, and easy to go a couple days between washes and have my hair look the same. Five stars!

Since I bought them together I have to average out the review, but I will repurchase the conditioner, but my search for a good fragrance free shampoo continues. The shampoo is not scented, but it has a fairly strong odor like new vinyl. Once I use the conditioner, I can no longer smell it, but it's pretty strong while you are using it. The conditioner is nice. It does not have any perfume smell, but smells slightly 'creamy' if that. the scent is very faint and reminds a little of the scent of the original Jergens Lotions. Again, the 'scent' is very mild and does not linger. It leaves my (fine, straight) hair soft and tangle free.

I have hunted for a year to find an unscented shampoo since my spouse is allergic to perfume and other cosmetic smells. There are lots on Amazon and that was not hard. Finding a conditioner that was unscented but would still work on my very fine hair was another game. there are lots of them too but they are mostly for people with healthier hair. This Desert Essence, which came as a two pack seems to be the one for me. One bottle of shampoo and one of conditioner. The conditioner acts as a cream rinse also, removing the tangles and leaving my hair hair nicely smooth and very easy to comb. I use a deep conditioner once a week when I am alone and the combination seems to be solving headaches for both of us. I know the conditioner has argon and other good things and I believe the shampoo probably does too. It does not take a lot of either product which is also helpful. I hope this stays in stock as I would just stay with this from now on.

I use this brand as unscented, daily. I love how well it works, as it should. My hair never seems over dry, too clean. Or over greasy/oily. This formula is well balanced, that I am very happy with the cleanliness, and feel of my hair after using it. I repeatedly buy this because it has no fragrance, and is mostly or all plant based, very few or no toxins. It is free of most toxins in popular shampoos/conditioners. It is a reputible company, and I highly recommend it. This specific brand is well rated on EWG.com. I have tried other natural shampoos, that just dont preform well, or are far too expensive. This one is reasonably priced, and it works!

I absolutely Love this combo. I have thicker hair that can be prone to tangling. I used to have to keep my hair from getting too long because the tangles were unmanageable. But both the shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling So clean and soft. Even when my hair is very long, I can easily comb all of the tangles out. Before I was using only the conditioner and diluting pure castile soap as shampoo. Not Good! This would make you assume conditioner was terrible and left you with brittle unmanageable hair. When I started using in conjunction with shampoo, Then the conditioner worked beautifully. I like the sweet, Very mild scent from the natural ingredients. The shampoo has a silky, very rich lather.
