I enjoyed this a lot.
Christina Lee and Riley Hart are two of my favorite authors, so it's not a surprised that this latest release from them was so good. In particular, I liked how nuanced Jesse's parents were. Too often the parents are either 100% accepting, gay pride flag waving or they're the complete opposite. Jesse's parents visibly struggled to accept and understand him, and their pain was as poignant and real as Jesse's. I also enjoyed the way Jesse and Dane slowly got to know each other and realized they had more in common than they had originally assumed. I'm sure I'll be rereading this one, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

Very cute!
I really liked this story and had a little of everything! I also was in need of low angst with the shark, banter, sexy times, and sweetness!Only one thing I didn't like in this story was the way they referred to the truck driver daddy in this story. I know " for storyline purposes" but it felt like they were putting the profession down a lot. My dad drove for 50 years and he was a great dad and a great truck driver! I still highly rated this book because it was pretty perfect other than that.

Cute
I enjoyed this first story in the Boys in Makeup series. Jesse was an awesome character and although Dane was a little annoying at first, he definitely grew on you as the story progressed. Secondary characters were great as well and I’ll be excited to read Seth’s story next.

I loved this book.
I loved that Jesse is so confident with himself. He knows who he is and won't change that. He sees Dane and they think they know what each other is all about and just want to have sex. Then they get to know each other and fall in love. They are so sweet together. I love that Dane thinks Jesse is beautiful with or without make up , no matter what he wears says or does.

Adorable story!
Pretty Perfect, is an adorable enemies to lovers story.Jesse, the charming guy with perfect makeup. And Dane, the grumpy stoic guy, with the cutest niece."I grew up thinking there were so many things I couldn't do, so many things I would never do, and with each one I marked off my list, or added randomly to that list, o proved everyone wrong, including past me."Pretty Perfect, a story about not assuming things. About trusting others, take a leap of faith, and believe in love.

Enemies to Friends to Lovers
This was a really great book! I had a tough start with it in the beginning…not sure why. But man does it have all the feels.I loved their banter and heat! Loved all the side characters and little Hailey😍I loved the realness between Jesse and his parents and the struggle for them to come to terms with things but not just give up.I just love books that aren’t high angst but high feels. If that makes since.

HEA for the blue collar set
"It might not be everyone’s dream come true, but it was pretty perfect if you asked me."I enjoyed this story about average people falling in love. No secret billionaire, no surprise inheritance. While I like to read about life becoming blissfully easy, those aren't the only love stories out there. Two of my favorite authors!

Jesse and Dane!
This enemies to lovers romance was absolutely everything! Outgoing Jesse was the perfect match to grumpy Dane. Their chemistry was amazing and the secondary characters were charming. I cannot wait for Seth's book and hopefully we will see glimpses of Mark, Bree and Hailey as well.

A sweet story, but...
Jesse is out and proud and nothing is going to stop him from being who he is and he lets everyone know it. He’s brash and confident, pushy, and loves nothing more than pushing Dane’s buttons. Dane is reserved, guarding his heart which was broken by his ex. He comes across as being grumpy, especially towards Jesse who annoys the hell out of him. Until things begin to change for both of them. This is about enemies who become friends, friends who become lovers and lovers who begin to love. A sweet story.Although enjoying the content of the story, I couldn’t get past the way it was written in the First Person. Well, two First Persons. Each chapter is written, in turn, from Jesse’s and then from Dane’s point of view. There’s a lot of narration and each character, at times, rambles, going off at a tangent and sharing random thoughts that add nothing to the story, instead, they just add noise that had me skipping those parts. And I found it strange that two people, totally opposite to each other, both with their own way of speaking, should narrate their views on the unfolding events in exactly the same manner.3 stars.

Wow
This was nothing like I thought it would be but soooo much better. I have just found this author and wanted to read more. I wasn't sure if I would like this book but I was really blown away. It was beautiful and sweet and funny and steamy and it took you on a journey . I can't wait to read more .

Nett
Das Buch war nett, nicht mehr und nicht weniger . Es war gut geschrieben, aber es hat weder mein Herz noch meine Seele oder meine Welt erschüttert . Es war unterhaltsam mit kleinen Längen zwischendurch .
