So I need to explain why I'm giving this item a 1. First, it was a 5 when I first got this item. I love the final product after using this iron. It's super easy to use and I'm not very good at doing my hair with any iron...lol. Unfortunately, I only used it 3 times and now it doesn't work. I take good care of my stuff. I kept this iron in it's original box and everything. I click the power button and then it turns off in a few seconds. I used multiple outlets and such to make sure it was a defect in the item and not the outlet. It definitely was a defective product. I emailed the company and no one has gotten back to me. They say they will respond in 24-48 hrs, and it's been going on 6 days. I'm very disappointed in their customer service. I even took video of the defect and how the iron's green display turns off within seconds of turning it on. Please use caution when ordering this item. My friends were ready to buy the iron as well because they loved how my hair looked. Now they will not because the company is not making this wrong a right.UPDATE--Since my original review, I was contacted by the product's customer service. They are sending me a replacement. All I had to do was cut the cord and send them a picture of the cord cut. I now give this a 5 rating!!! I'm glad they are making this right! I'm looking forward to receiving my replacement as the iron does a phenomenal job at making quick and easy curls!! :-)

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love the curls I got from it while it was working. A day and a half into having it and using it twice and it started shorting out. I would have my hair in it, get down to the last part of my hair and it would be off. There has to be some type of short in the wires because every time I try to turn the bottom where the cord is, it shuts off. This breaks my heart because it does a wonderful job, but I think I think I'll order strait from the Head Kandy website next time. Three stars because it does work beautifully but I can't use it at all now, pending return.

The product itself is fine. I just don't like the outcome. However, the 10 day return policy on a Christmas gift and then having to pay to return it and a restocking fee, BEWARE!!

My hair is very hard to style due to being so fine. This product did a great job I found a lower heating setting worked best.

Ordered this as a Christmas gift for my wife. She absolutely loves anything Head Kandy. Great deal and quick shipping. Her hair looks amazing!

My daughter absolutely loves it! Best purchase in a long time! Gives her great beach wave hair!

I tried to get the beachy waves I see in head Kandy's videos with this crimper but all I got was frizzy hair. When I attempted to return the product for a refund they informed me that returns where not accepted. I would not buy from head Kandy ever again.

The produce was faulty. The first one I ordered had a short in the cord and would not stay powered on, straight out of the box. I returned it and got a replacement. It was also has a short in the cord and would not stay on. I did not reorder.
