Meridian | Blackstrap Molasses - Organic | 1 x 600g

My daughter is iron deficient... as are many vegans/vegetarians... I did a little internet research and discovered Blackstrap Molasses... It is an iron powerhouse and she now has a fruit smoothie with a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses every morning... Too early to tell if it works yet, but we're optimistic... You can find molasses in several supermarkets, but not Blackstrap, which is the one that you want... The taste is intense... Not horrible... Not lovely... But we didn't buy it for the taste... I won't go so far as to recommend it yet... but if it works, then I'll come back and update this review

This tasty and healthy food is a blessing. I have found this to be a wonderful additive to baking, cereals and hot drinks with a smooth and rich taste. It is rather viscous, therefore, I recommend using it liberally. A tablespoonful is enough for cereal and baking or a teaspoon amount for hot beverages though. This is sweet as you can get. Better for you than sugar also. Enjoy!

I use it for my flowers and plants in the garden All the plant foods in garden centres nah, use molasses it’s nature’s best friend. You only need a little in water, and spray the flowers, beautiful blooms and have been using for donkeys years. Great food for young plants or any plants needing a bit of food… Lasts an absolute age, and also if you have pet dogs, a little can be taken off a spoon, my dogs love it. Although the item arrived with a faulty seal and therefore leaking I was happily surprised to find I like the flavour. I always have spare glass jars at home and so decanted the contents. I’m always keen to get nutrients into my body particularly because I have health issues. One of those issues is a sensitive gut and therefore lots of things I cannot tolerate. One teaspoon in boiled water allowed to cool to very warm is benign and that is a sensation I can feel especially when my gut is upset, there’s a calming sensation and the flavour is also pleasant to drink. 2 teaspoons works like a laxative with gut cramps for me.

My favourite tasting molasses. My arrived well wrapped and sealed but somehow about a 1/4 of the contents have leaked out creating a very sticky mess. The seller kindly despatched an immediate, no quibble, replacement, which arrived in two days. Not often you get service like that these days!!

I reckon this is the best naturally occurring supplement for managing Iron Deficiency that is common in females. I have beeb using it regularly with warm water. The taste isn’t very pleasant the first few times but one can get used to it. Great product!

Item arrived as described with good packaging. My only complaint is I didn't realise black strap molasses was so bitter. Maybe just a disclaimer or explanation in the product description of different types of molasses. I just wanted something nice for my coffees and baking but not sure what to use this for. Don't want to return as it's open and it'll be a waste.

Premierement ca fait 2 fois que j'achete ce produit et qu'il arrive degoulinant malgres 1 bel emballage, je pense que les pots sont rop remplis. 2ement en 1 mois le prix de vente a double, impossible d'annuler, derniere fois que j'achete cette marque.

Han dejado de fabricar la marca de melaza negra que podía encontrar en España por lo que no me ha quedado otra que cambiar de marca y comprarla por internet. Está muy bien en relación calidad/precio, pues, siendo la melaza un subproducto derivado de la caña de azúcar, al ser de importación suele ser bastante caro en mi país. Buen resultado.
