Solid value for the price
Tools well made, no slop in either the cutters or crimper. Very accurate crimps on the pins. The wrenches also work quite well. Only gripe is there needs to be 2 more pair of connectors included.

Comfortable and effective
This tool set had everything in it I needed to make the M4 connections. The tools were comfortable to work with.

Heavy duty crimper
Good quality tools, if you have never installed mc4 connectors it helps to watch video and learn the tricks to easy installation. Also, make sure you squeeze the crimper handles together tight to get it to release.

Great basic set, but arrived moldy?
The set itself is fine. Comes with everything you need and the case is sturdy. My only complaint is while it arrived in a very dry cardboard box, the carrying case inside the box was covered in mold (see pics). I don't know if they kept this in a warehouse in the Deep South or what, but it was disgusting. I emptied the case of tools and ran it though my clothes washing machine twice and now it's nice and clean, but it's arrival looking like the pics did not sit well.Tools themselves are fine (wiped down with alcohol wipes to be safe). They function great and everything about the kit is top notch. Just not the mold.

Two crimps in, works great
Completed 2 mp4 for solar panel install. Worked well. The wrenches for the mp4 collars worked well. Crimper worked well also.

Works Great
I really like the cutter included in this kit it is sharp and great for cutting larger wires. The crimper works well and ratchets closed and only releases when it is fully crimped unlike the cheap crimpers. It also gives you much more leverage than the cheap ones. So I really like it.

Great Value Kit
Crimped my connections and they hold strong. Tool works as supposed to operate. Quality of the connectors remain to be seen, as one does not “snap” into place, but it does hold strong.

Missing the strippers
Looks like a great kit, my issue is it says it comes with wire strippers and the kit I received did not include them.
