Ordered it mainly to use as a prayer/meditation wrap and shawl. But the material is good enough to also do some outdoor duty as a fall and winter scarf. Not heavyweight enough for frigid, bitter cold temps, but for where I live (NC) it'll be fine throughout both seasons.Very happy with it.

It is a very beautiful shawl but for me very big. I am short and smaller overall. It was voluminous on me.

We got this to work for my husband's ancient Roman historical presentation. It worked perfectly. It was just the right thickness for the warmer seasons and indoors. The material is a soft wool, almost cashmere in its feel, and it was very well made. My husband is 5'10" and this went from neck to just above his ankles.

I am not convinced that this is 90% wool as is claimed. I did a burn test on the tassels and they melted.

Perfect for meditation! Very big shawl. The only negative is that I had to wash it several times to get out the odd odor. Other than that, worth the buy! And the color is rich and beautiful.
