A great book helps you to know you know the person! This is a great book -- it also helped me to know Corrie ten Boom's closest friend, Jesus Christ. I’ve read several books by and about Corrie Ten Boon, and all have inspired me and taught me valuable lessons about walking the Christian walk. But this book is written by her companion and assistant—it focuses on the key lessons we can learn from Corrie’s life. And they are amazing lessons that can disciple us to become closer to God’s image in Jesus Christ in our own lives.It’s a complete life starting with Corrie’s birth in 1892, her family’s life during World War I, the years between the World Wars, and “the Deepest Hell That Man Can Create”—Naziism and the Holocaust. How in all those tumultuous and oppressive years can we live as the King’s children? The author explores that very well in the life and work of Corrie Ten Boom who with her sister was thrown into a concentration camp. After her release and recovery, the book tells of all the traveling and teaching she did worldwide—just amazing.Extraordinary lesson from an amazing and God-imbued life! This book is exactly what I ordered and in excellent condition. I needed a clean book for a reading group I belong to, and I needed it quickly. All my expectations were met! I highly recommend this seller.

No one I know of, in my lifetime, proves the above truth as well as Corrie ten Boom. Reading this book is awe-inspiring in its gripping tales of close calls and an amazing woman who was able with God's help to withstand so many assaults, both physical and mental. Corrie TenBoom continued to serve and share God's word with so many throughout her life. The book detailed many of her experiences prior to, during, and after her imprisonment by the Nazis. I enjoyed the stories of her exploits. It did get a little long as it went on to explain and describe others who were mentioned in her story. I finally just stopped reading the additional stories in which I had lost interest.

It's an amazing book that will stay with you long after you finish reading it. Corrie will show you how to overcome suffering, darkness, and anger while always looking towards Jesus.

This biography of Corrie ten Boom’s life is inspirational for Christians as well as people wanting to know more of what the Christian life is all about. Corrie ten Boom’s life is a testament to the love of God and what genuine faith in Jesus really means.

I found it enspiring to read again of Corrie ten Boom. For me there is no excuse I getting older, nothing is impossible for our Great God, if we will just surrender to His will and allow his purpose for our lives. Where he might lead me I do not know. But I do know I will never be alone for He promises to always be with me. Thanks be to God

Great book! what a blessing Corrie was to many. She learned forgiveness and to love those who had hurt her. I learned a lot of new things reading this book about Corrie and her family's life. A must read!

A very interesting read. Corrie Ten Boom's story is fairly well known but this books adds many insights to her life and thought. It is well written and I enjoyed reading the story again - from a slightly different angle this time. The author clearly knew Corrie very well and this comes out in her sympathetic writing.

Very well wrote, gives a good account of what the family went through and their devotion to jesus, it's a worth while read fast delivery.
