Shape was perfect and they came timely but looked like they were made from something much more substantial (thin) and were larger in the picture (doesn’t really fit normal place setting). Should have double checked the size. While not expensive, I probably paid to much for these. Will still use them to line shelves or something.

I love, love, love these placemats!! The color coordinates with my red dining room chairs and my Christmas theme colors. They are also very easy to wipe down/clean. I also love the curve that goes with the round table top. It works so much better than the normal rectangular shapes.

I like the weight of the placemats, the durability and ease of cleaning, but they arrived rippled and even days of trying to straighten them under a large stack of very heavy books failed to flatten them. Because of this, I will not be using them for entertaining, just casual family use.

Placemats arrived intact and in great condition due to shipment inside of a nice flat box. The BONUS is that they came in a SET OF SIX, which is unusual, but nice! The materials, size, and shape of these placemats were exactly what I had been in search of... for YEARS - I might add! The unfortunate part is that they were only offered in three color selections; red, pink, and a medium toned woodgrain (the dark woodgrain in photo was not available for purchase on AMAZON). Soooo, I selected what I thought would best suit my needs - the lighter woodgrain print. However when delivered, I found the woodgrain color/pattern was just too busy, distracting, and clashed with the wood grain of my table. Just not right for my kitchen dining area. Therefore, I will return them and search for a similar solid (plain) more inconspicuous placemat. (Nice quality mats for the price, though. Would have gladly used them had they been a more "neutral", non-patterned design.)

I have purchased other similar products and they came twisted and bent. I had to put them in the dryer to get the wrinkles out. These mats are thicker than the competitors mats, and they not porous like the competitors mats. Will not stain. Thanks

I liked the color. I was looking for something to blend into our chocolate colored wooden table and these were more dark brown wood-like (like the picture shows) - not "black." but like others had said, wish they were a little bigger. I like the material they're made of. I got them to replace the woven ones we had, which were frustrating when the crumbs and liquids would go right through them. Whereas these actually protect the table - what a mat is supposed to do! The shape is good because our table is round. Other mats were not pliable and were rectangular, so when your arm would touch it, it flipped the glass of water, spilling water all over.

I recently downsized from a 65.5 inch round counter height table to a 44 inch round table and needed placemats. I found these and they were perfect. They did not melt when I placed plates of hot food on them and they protected the wood of the table. I highly recommend them.

We have an oval table, so the rounded sides are perfect for the ends. And, apparently, we bought a really cheap table with a horrible finish that started pitting almost immediately (grrrr) so we needed something to (a) hide the pits and (b) prevent more from happening. AND we have cats, and prior experience has shown that anything with texture hangs on to cat hair. Since our table is gray wood grain, the dark/black wood grain print works really well with it. And since they're not woven/no real texture, they're super easy to clean. I can't speak to whether they are heat resistant, and we haven't had them long enough to speak to durability, but so far, so good.

Curly, thin and cheap looking. Reminds me of a plastic table cloth. Very disappointed as they are not cheap.
