Great swing! The girls began to use it after just a few days!

Not going to lie was super spectacle about this swing. Heard from a lot of people you had to train the chickens, and even then might refuse to use it. Thankfully, my chickens are adventurous, and smart. So I actually didn't need to train them they trained themselves. And it is a crack up to watch them.

I got this for our eclectus parrot. He’s about the size of an amazon or African grey parrot. I wanted one for inside of his cage, tho he’s only there at night.This has a nice amount of chain so it can be set lower. Nicely decorated on the sides.The one feature that is unique is the bottom. It’s not just a perch. It looks like a ladder.This gives any bird the ability to hold on better. Because it’s in the cage and new, I wanted it to feel more sturdy.Birds are funny about new items. I remember years ago putting a new toy in his cage and he refused to sleep there.So,I had to remove it and try later. Eventually he accepted it. Over all, I’d recommend this. Although if you have a larger bird, macaw or cockatoo who is a chewer,..this might be chewable. It’s not one thick rod. The small parts might be a problem for large beaks & birds whoInsist on munching everything to shreds! 👀

I returned the item. I am tired of vendors tricking customers with item sizes. The grown hen on that picture will NEVER fit sideways on this item. The ladder barely measures 15.5" tip to tip. I will build my own 3 foot version with $5 of wood from home depot.

This is very cheap....not sturdy enough for a grown chicken.....it is very lightweight and does not give the chicken enough support. It fell down twice and my average size chickens gave up on it. Save your money!!

I really am kind of disappointed that the chickens don't like this swing. Its made fine enough for the weight of a chicken. But it doesn't seem like it would be weather proof based on the quality of wood. You need a bit of rope or chain to hang it and we had an easy time of it.

The chains are only about 18-24 inches long. In order to make this workable in my 7 foot tall run, I had to buy extra chain to extend it. Up high, the chickens were terrified of being on it.

I bought this for my hens, it came looking exactly like advertised here and in only a couple of days so very quickly as well. Great condition and very cute! I cannot write a review based on quality because my chickens haven’t used it yet, they’re still in their brooding box and this is in their coop run. It looks like it will be perfect though. 🤞🏼Can’t wait for them to be able to play on it!
