I purchased this item free of charge in return for an honest and unbiased review.I used this product for all three of my cats and they all continued eating their food with this supplement. Two of my cats suffer from mild gingivitis and there has been a noticeable improvement in their gums (less inflamed) since using this product.This is a really great product and highly recommended. Genuinly amazed at how quickly and how well this product works. I'm normally very cynical about the claims of products like this but my dog's teeth went from really bad to pretty good within a month or so. her teeth look the way they did five or six years ago. I'm really pleased.

NOT IMPRESSED

It is said that approximately 80% of cats over the age of 3 have some degree of dental disease. I've had friends who forked out hundreds of £££s for their cat's tooth troubles that weren't covered by insurance and understand that it can be difficult to make a claim for dental treatment. I appreciate the importance of routine dental care to reduce plaque and tartar buildup, as well as gum disease, and wish to avoid any unnecessary pain for my pets, as well as personal expense. At the same time, I have found it very challenging to get my cats used to the idea of having their pearly whites brushed and had all but given up on achieving this. I had never heard of plaque powder and was thrilled to learn of AniForte's product which is made from algae mixed with apple pomace. It looks and smells like something I would add to my smoothie for extra nourishment and has a strong herbal scent.Using the product couldn't be easier - I mix it into my cats' wet food once a day and they happily eat it. Although the product is best used in conjunction with daily brushing, I feel happier knowing that I am giving them a product which will help make any plaque and tartar build up on their teeth softer and eliminate some of it. Since only a small amount is needed, the product is very economical. I also found it interesting that anti-plaque powder has been used in human dentistry for several years in tablet form.Thankfully my cats teeth and gums are clean and healthy; hopefully with this product they will stay that way.

After mixing the powder in to my dogs food for some time now there is no difference in her teeth at all. I've only give her a half a scoop each time, and have about a quarter of a tub left so I would have thought there would have been signs of improvement by now. It is difficult to measure the powder correctly as the scoop is conical in shape, so not an easy task.

My beloved Doris Dog has been testing this out. She has awful discolouration and plaque on her teeth.This product is easy to Use, you just sprinkle a set amount on to their food. So far I can't see a massive improvement to her fangs but I am hopeful.There have been no side effects from using this so am happy to keep adding this to her food. I realise that the product doesn't seem cheap, but consider that dental work on a dog like Doris who hates her teeth being touched would require sedation by a vet.... that wouldn't be cheap.She wasn't sure about this at first, the powder is a bold green so I can't blame her for hesitating, but after a few days she's fine about it. It's best to stir it into canned food at first, once she was used to having a powdered suppliment added to her dinner She went back on to dry food as usual.I will come back and update this if I get good or bad results.Edited on 1st May to add this.I noticed that some of the darker patches on her teeth looked slightly faded so I brushed Doris' teeth. Normally brushing her teeth just means she smells of the toothpaste with no visible improvement. This time some of the marks moved loose. Her teeth are not amazing, they are still nasty colours but I am confident that it was because of this product that we have had any improvement at all. This is excellent and my doggies are fine with it in their food every morning.Quick delivery too. More than satisfied.

The powder is green and kind of looks like dry grass. It smells very natural, it kind of reminds me of herbal teas.It comes in a thick plastic tub.Measuring spoon and clear dosage instructions are also included.It’s a great alternative to dental work.I just wish it was sold in larger containers. One 80g tub with two cats, 35kg lab and a 65kg Newfie didn’t last very long. After a week of usage I am unable to say if it works or not but the idea of the products seems to be solid so we will keep feeding it to our pets.*I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
