This glaze is ugly!
Before ordering this, I read all reviews so knew that others were very disappointed…but I decided to try it anyway. I glazed a bisque earthenware bowl with deep horizontal ridges on the outside and after shaking well, applied 3 thick coats. It was fired at cone 06. I’m not exaggerating to say this was the ugliest item I’ve ever taken out of the kiln, the primary color was a horrible and dull army green with very few blue speckles. The best area was the bottom of the bowl where the glaze puddled but this was only average at best. This glaze bears NO resemblance to the picture and looks a lot like really nasty pond scum. Based on my results and the comments from others, I wonder if it is a defective product; I will request a refund.

Beautiful!
Gorgeous color just as listed. 3 coats brush applied and fired to 05 with gorgeous results. Highly recommended.

Color picture is not accurate.
The glaze is a very good quality glaze but the color swatch is not at all acurate. It is really a drab olive green with mostly gray crystals only a few blue. I bought it for the look of water (blue/teal) and how it ran but it didn't do that at all.

This is not the color! it is a brown ugly 0star
This is not what the photo shows at all. Do not buy this color very ugly I'm returning after my huge piece is garbage! Been doing pottery for 6 years followed directions on label. I buy this brand often with no problems. I give it a no star

You have to read the fine print (click on see more) to find out this ...
I was not aware when I bought this that this was a low fire glaze. You have to read the fine print (click on see more) to find out this fact. I generally fire at cone 6 for my glaze firings. That being said, one piece I glazed with this came out very green with some reds running through it. One came out rusted red with shades of olive. It was my own stupidity for purchasing a glaze based on the color combo without realizing it was for low fire. It has its place in the work I do, but if you are high firing, the piece will NOT look like the photo. It's okay, but since all of my glaze firings are at cone 6, I won't purchase it again.

For LOW fire only
Turned out to be a drab brown - nothing like the picture! Did not see where product was for low temps only.
