but is nothing like the Skidmores Actual Leather Cream
I give the item a 5 Star review, but the ad is so far from what it is advertising, here is why. The add for this item says Leather Cream, when it arrived it is the WATERPROOFING CREAM, which I can say it is a cream that does protect your leather, but is nothing like the Skidmores Actual Leather Cream, what I was expecting. The Leather Cream goes on very smooth and treats your leather, and the Waterproofing is much thicker, kinda like bees wax. It leaves a somewhat sticky residue, and does waterproof, but the Waterproofing is great for what it does, but I would not put it on my Leather Motorcycle Seat because of it being like bees wax that is sticky. So, be sure, if you want The Leather Cream, make sure it says Leather Cream on the lid or cap, and not Waterproofing, they are both Top Shelf treatments, but I would not put this product on my Leather Seat. It works Fantastic on my Boots and my leather saddle bags. I don't sit on them. For my seat treatment it gets the Skidmores Leather Cream, and not the Waterproofing. It makes it sticky. Hope this is not to technical. I now have 3 tubs of waterproofing, that will last 3-4 years. My Leather Cream is just about gone. I needed the Cream and was sent Waterprofing. Still a priceless deal. The Price was also very affordable for the Waterprofing cream. Thanks Bubba Woody

Wonderful product will never be without it
I used this product on some horse tack that had been hanging in a barn for about 15 yrs. it came out almost as good as new. I also used it on a pair of reins that I have had hanging in my tack room for 30 yrs. they are just as good as when I bought them 30 yrs. ago. Granted all this leather was in relatively good shape other than just sitting and not being used for all those years and was extremely dirty but I was amazed at how soft and supple it became with just one application. I cleaned the leather with soap and water first then used some Lexol leather cleaner and then applied the Skidmores and it just made the biggest difference in the softness of the leather and taking away cracks and scratches.

Great Product but Header Name is Misleading and Erroneous
Please note: This is NOT Skidmore's Leather Cream and Conditioner as suggested by the seller. It is the Beeswax Waterproofing. The seller has evidently (unintentionally, I hope) merged the two products into one name. Just to be clear, there is Skidmore's Leather Cream and there is Skidmore's Beeswax Waterproofing. This product is the latter. It does work great as a waterproofer but if you want to condition your leather shoes, tack, handbags, chaps, jackets, etc., you need the Leather Cream. You can buy it direct from Skidmore's as it's not available on Amazon. Amazon needs to correct this misleading product header. I got burned and received the wrong thing as I went with the description but I needed the Leather Cream, not Waterproofing.

Works well in concert with a good leather cleaning/conditioning with the company’s other products.
I purchased both the biker edition leather conditioner and water proofing to treat my newly purchased saddlebags and a seat I have on the way. The conditioner made the leather supple and smooth and the water proofing cream caused an unexpected rain to bead right off. They slightly darkened the leather, but I think it looks great (see photo). Would recommend to anyone interested in protecting their investment in leather on their motorcycle.

Good stuff so far
So far so good, put it on new saddlebags, an old leather jacket ans boots. Can’t say until I hit some rain with them. That said, seems quality, goes on nice and doesn’t leave a sticky gooey residue. I put it on the bags in the sun which seemed to help it penetrate the leather.

Great stuff, challenging to apply
Challenging to put on a jacket if you don't have a proper heat gun, but once it's seemed in properly so that it's no longer tacky, it works wonders for the leather. Be sure to use the use the Leather Cream first (also excellent).
