The mortar sticks well and trowels easy. I applied a very thin scratch coat, then notch trowel. Directions say don’t don’t walk on for 24 - 72 hours. After 24, you could still pull up a tile, . After 72, you’ll need a chisel. Therefore, make sure your grout joints are cleaned out as you tile, the mortar sets up pretty hard. Cleans up well from tools and hands with liquid dish soap and cool water. I used 3 1 gal rubs all were consistent one to the other.

Both containers were open & leaking. I hope I have enough product to do the job.

Perfect for a winter tile (or as in my case marble) job. I have read the reviews, I took a chance, and with the first tub I made a mistake and had to remove a piece of marble tile 3”x6” a couple of days after it had set up. The thinset took the wall board with it when I finally pulled the tile off. I was impressed, and all worries about it adhering was gone.I hope this helps.

Either the two tubs of thin set I received had been sitting around awhile or this product was just not very good. It peels off the cement board in sheafs as applied and takes some effort to get it to stay on the vertical surface. No problem with adhesion after that but lots of waste on tghe floor and picking it up continually. I'd say it was mixed too dry.

This mortar was perfect for a light German Schmear on my river rock fireplace. The customer service was also excellent.

So I didn’t realize it’s a tiny bucket thinking it’s like the one from Home Depot at $45 so that’s on me but if you try to return it they charge you $10 that’s pretty ridiculous. I’ll keep my $45 bucket that will cover about 10 subway tiles

I used this mortar to cover the 1980’s red brick. It was so easy to use and really freshened up the room.
