Very good quality
My wife started using this lately and she’s had no issues. She doesn’t like overwhelming scents and this, being unscented, is very nice. She says it’s quite good with clumping and that the pellets don’t get stuck on her shoes or clothing or anything, which was a problem with other litter products. Ever since the problems with the toilet this alternative has just really helped, so I would encourage it for anybody looking for a good quality and non-toxic litter for their restroom needs. I imagine the litter would be great for cats as well.

Try it! You won't regret it.
Honestly...THE BEST litter you can buy. I hate perfumey litters & ones that create a lot of dust. I love everything about this litter. It covers up the smell really well. It clumps tightly. It doesn't create a dust storm. My cats prefer it. I'm just really impressed by this litter.

Recent convert - so much better than other litters!
I am a new convert to this litter as of a few months ago! I have been using Dr. Elsey’s for a couple years and just couldn’t handle the quality inconsistency and glue-like clumps. I also tried the unscented versions of Tidy Cat and they smelled bad really fast. I got really tired of trying cat litters, but this one had mostly good reviews so I thought I’d give it a shot.I have two male cats, one litter box (works fine for them) and I scoop religiously every morning and evening. I fully change out the litter every 2 weeks. One of my cats pees on the high sides of the litter box, onto a liner and then the pee drips down into the litter. I always had issues with Dr. Elsey’s because it stuck to the side and then broke apart in gross-smelly, gluey clumps when I tried to scrape it off. This Fresh Step litter makes hard clumps and absorbs super fast. That being said, I don’t shake the clumps very much when I scoop, since I don’t like taking the chance of a clump breaking apart.Honestly, there IS some dust when I pour in the new litter. I don’t mind this. I don’t notice any dust when the cats are digging. It is not excessive, and (don’t hate me) I think the VERY slight dusty quality makes the scent absorbency better. The scent absorbency is another award I’d give. I hate smelling cat litter, whether it’s the pee or the perfumey scent added by the litter company. This is unscented AND it covers scents so well! I had major scent issues in the past with every litter I’ve ever tried. Dr. Elsey’s was sometimes OK, sometimes horrible, and I could never figure out why.Anyway, I love this stuff and I will probably be a customer for life! I am set up to get a 37lb set of boxes every 2 weeks and that works well for a large litter box with 2 cats.

Clumps well but odor control could be better
This litter clumps really well, making scooping quick and easy. I like that it's unscented, which is better for my cat’s sensitive nose. However, it doesn’t do much to mask or control the odor, especially after a couple of days. I was hoping for better performance in that area since it's labeled as "advanced." It's still a solid option if you're mainly looking for good clumping without added fragrances. Just be prepared to change it out more frequently to keep smells down.

Works great, no odor.
We have been using the Fresh Step with Febreeze and noticed after a few months that our cat was missing fur on the back of his front and back legs, almost bald. He was also missing fur on the bottom 2 inches of his tail. We were very concerned. I then deduced that the fur was missing everywhere he was touching his cat litter, lucky guess. Evidently, he didn't appreciate the Febreeze as much as we do and was trying to pick it off, thus removing the fur after a period of time. We switched to this unscented litter and after 3 months his fur is back to normal. This litter does a great job of neutralizing odors. We were recently gone for 3 days and put out an extra litter box. Were we returned, there was no smell. This proved to me that we were not just nose blind to the smell. This is great stuff. Just buy it, your cat will appreciate it.

Best price around for this product
Fresh Step has been the best litter we have tried to use for our Rag doll cat. We have used since he was a kitten and there is no other litter that holds the Oder longer than the Fresh Step. I've also shopped around looking for a similar product with this price and I cannot find it other than Amazon. Amazon has this for the cheapest price that I have found. Also want to mention by ordering on Amazon its made my shopping easier, because I don't have the 'heavy items to load and unload, its simply delivered on our door step. As a mom of 4 with a large shopping list this has made my life so much easier and cheaper.

Works better than most!
This litter stands out for odor control even though it had no toxic fragrance added which I love. It clumps and absorbs well, too. The price is good for the quality so I definitely recommend giving this a try. No toxic fragrance on your cats paws on in the air but the odor controlIs amazing.

I ended up replacing it.
It's not a bad litter. I do believe it did a good job of reducing tracking. However the weird thing was the level of airborne dust was higher than I'm used to. Just doing my routine scooping was uncomfortable. So I imagined what the cats felt like in there. I replaced it after a couple of weeks. This new brand seems to have low dust tracking as well as low airborne dust.
