It is a very good quality edc and unsurpassed value.
I like the D2 steel version and G10 scales. Ball bearing pivot. One hand operation . Reversable Deep pocket carry clip. I have purchased several over the years , replaced 2 that were lost, gave several as gifts. And is still my EDC . Love the knife.

Great beater knife or field or edc knife
Awesome knife, really good action for the price and very sharp... I never cut myself but this blade is so sharp i have twice. Even though on bearings, handled dirt and debris pretty well. Only rusted on one little spot (its d2 its going to rust anyways) even after spending a weekend in the field and being stuck in the rain for several days. Fits great in hand and easy to use with and without gloves.

Great knife lefty's need to read though
I actually love the knife itself. Really nice action. Came in center, ball bearing washers plus D2 steal for under 40 dollars. I'm not a huge fan of supporting China and they're f'ing wet markets. But these days it's almost impossible not send them our money. Why I gave it a three. I'm one of those superior people, you know, I am left handed. Well moving the pocket clips was impossible and I mean literally. The screws were just stripped from ppl m the get go and i know lock tight was holding it in. I had to retap all four hole and step up screw size to M5's on a plus side I'm using Phillip's heads now instead of craptacular T6 torx. So yeah a 3 for making me do a whole lot of work most dudes prob cant or just wouldn't bother.

Good knife!
Good knife! I wear large gloves and it is very comfortable in my hand. All edges are rounded nicely and no hotspots. G10 is textured nicely with a good grip but not too aggressive. Flipper action is really smooth and good lockup. However I wish the detent was a little stronger as you can fail the blade deployment pretty easy but it's not like its too weak to hold it closed when it should be. Access to disengage liner lock is good and the blade will drop shut with a shake or two. Also the blade has a nice thumb ramp but would be better with some jimping IMO. Blade was nice and sharp out of the box and I like the light stone wash finish as well as the blade shape. One thing I am disappointed in is the screws used in the pocket clip. As you can see in my photos they used button head screws with a bend that is shallow on the clip. This prevents your pocket from going to the top of the clip and if you are able to force it will tear up your jeans over time. Love the stiffness of the clip but use flat screws so it's functional. Granted you can always change out the screws as I am going to but you shouldn't have to. Who knows it may only be on my example. Over all it is a really good knife. 4 out of 5 because of the Pocket clip screws.

For about 35 bucks, this thing rocks!
Artisan Cutlery refers to CJRB as their “budget” line. I would more accurately describe it as their “utility” line. All the work but none of the fancy. For about 35 bucks this thing absolutely rocks!!! Any little fit and finish stuff can be easily touched up with some fine sandpaper. The blade is a nice light stonewash, but the pocket clip is just about done in chrome. I just scuffed it up a bit and it’s not so bright now.Totally a great buy. I plan to buy more.

Great overall
Great knife for $35 robust, overall great multi-use blade shape and length,D2 Steel which means it holds the edge, shaves out of the box. The Flipper Rockets the blade out like it's a assisted. Perfectly textured G10 handle scales, fits my extra large hand good, check my pics.
