Get Moving!
My 5 year old daughter is very active so she was able to see the shadow negative behavior of Lazy Ninja lounging or sleeping all day. In an age where everything is technology driven and at your finger tips kids can really get comfortable to the point where they forego going outside to stay in watching tv or the iPad. This book really teaches kids to get up and get moving not only does it help you physically but it helps your brain!

8 yr old: "I liked the whole put on and tie your shoes strategy."7 yr old: "I liked when Lazy Ninja decided to try some exercises."4 yr old: "I liked how Lazy Ninja's friends always invited him to do things and helped him."I have started to use the if you get up and get ready strategy to help us get motivated to start our day.

Hits home
Love that this book teaches children about motivation and choices we make. The strategies in each of the Ninja series books to turn bad traits/situations from bad to good is spot on. This particular book was especially relatable to my older children as they can see what laziness means and how they mirror these behaviors. Now they do things a little differently around the house!

A fun and relatable story!
We all definitely feel demotivated sometimes. So not only children but adults also will be able to relate the story of Lazy Ninja who didn't want to do much until Inventor Ninja showed him ways to get up, get going and enjoy the day! This is a cute story which teaches how to draw motivation from simple things in life and move on.

Good reminder to create good movement habits
After reading this in the morning my 4 yr old decided in the afternoon that she was done watching tv and ready to have fun, so she went to put her shoes on. Love that it's a simple task that can help both kids and adults, and we love that the other ninjas show up to help their friends out in all the books!

Cute pretext
I'm not sure if depression and laziness are being equated, but it is nice to see some happy characters take a "lazy" one and show it how to keep going.

Kids will love the bright, simple format
These fun little ninja books are really pretty cool for adults as well as kids. Lazy ninja made me smile. We all get in a rut sometimes, and what better way to remind ourselves what to do that by following the advice of a fun bunch of young ninjas! Kids will love the bright, simple format, and will learn new life skills as they read each book.
