Just got this delivered today and I was happy to note that it was good quality straight from the pack. Very easy to install and it had a very good hold. It is a little expensive when compared to cheaper alternatives easy available from Amazon but none of the alternatives had the quality or the hold this one had. So I think it’s a do it once and do it right kinda product. I had to order five more packs after it. Expensive, I know, but they do a good job.

I have seen several reviews that comment on how weak the adhesive is (stickiness). They must have increased how much or the type of adhesive they use because, if anything, it sticks too quickly and is hard to adjust if it goes in crooked. I used this initially as a buffer on the face of a strobe light for the rear window on my truck. It worked GREAT. No rattling or light leakage. Then I used it on the bottom of two storm doors - applied on a warmer day (65°) and it stuck immediately and very well. I intend to buy another roll so that I can put it on my truck's side rails to help prevent water leakage under my tri-fold tonneau cover. I have zero issues with thisproduct. Oh yeah, the package says it "contains (2) 8 1/2" strips". Even in the new math that equals 17 feet. Whiners... The Sramajor

The weatherstripping is a very good automotive, marine, or RV weatherstripping for doors and luggage compartments. It comes joined in a double-wide strip of D-shaped rubber with adhesive tape applied to the back. It can be used double width (wider openings that need extra protection 1/2"w x 1/4"d) or easily split with a knife and used in narrow applications (1/4" x 1/4"). Don't rely on the adhesive backing as it will fail almost within a day. I used Permatex weatherstripping adhesive, applying a bead on the back side of the rubber and then pressed in place. Looks great. Works well. And with the right adhesive is sticking well.

I used this to seal the doors and the trunk lid on my older car where water was getting in. This saved me a lot over new factory BMW seals and it's really not noticeable this is on there appearance-wise. This was very easy to put on and I had no problem getting it to stick. It's been on my car for a couple months now and shows no sign of wear or the adhesive breaking down. Excellent product at a very good price.

I detest roaches… and even with this white strip on the inside that drags across the floor, a roach still got in the other day! So I got this strip and placed two across my front doors threshold to prevent more bugs from crawling inside. It works well because it’s raised so helps seal the gap between the bottom of the door and the threshold, but when I bring my rolling laundry basket inside, it goes down and back up since it’s rubber, and it doesn’t lose its adhesion for a decent amount of time. Plus, if it even does lose its adhesion, I still have extra stripping to replace it with! Cant go wrong with keeping hot/cold air, and bugs out! I did clean the threshold well with a microfiber towel and isopropyl alcohol before applying the strip. And the price is great!

Factory gasket (aka garbage) for my Ram Classic 1500 third brake light was letting water in. I saw many write ups on FB groups as well as YouTube and other forums where fellow Moparians purchased this gasket material to redo the third brake light seal. Very easy to work with and pliable to easily navigate the bends of the light housing. Thicker than original gasket so I am certain now that no water will make it's way in.

The adhesive side is not sticky enough. It doesn’t hold well, so it keeps coming off after some time. The material itself seems fine, but the tape could be stronger.

I wanted to keep rain water from entering the top of my expensive new storm door. This hopefully will do the job.

Works like a charm and the seal is great the backing super sticky A+ there are many posts online about how good this stuff is and I can proclaim with certainty this to be true.

Es muy buen producto, tal vez sea caro a comparación con otros de la misma clase, pero es de una excelente calidad, lo usé en una puerta de Automóvil porque se filtraba agua y no se deforma, además que soporta altas temperaturas, la cinta que trae para adherir hace bien su trabajo.

Unlike no name rubber weather stripping, "M-D Building Products" actually has very high bond 3M-like adhesive and worked well on my SUV door frames I just soundproofed. Two of these rolls covered three doors for me. Now I just need one more roll, and I can attest that they work and feel great. I highly recommend especially when the price is low!
