These are sturdy and very nice! One of the few things left that seems like a decent bargain. They're not to heavy but not too light, and really easy to clean, store, etc.

First off, I don't own a camp chef cooker. Yet I wanted to be able to have a good sized flat grill for making smash burgers on my 2 burner Charbroil gas grill. ( If your not familiar with smash burgers they require a HOT grill and one that stays hot!) Looking at the dimensions and ratings on this grill, I figured it would work. Glad I took the chance as it is very nicely made, fits well and works perfectly! I just set it on the gas grill, turn on the burners , drop the cover and come back in 10 min when the internal temp of the grill is around 300 deg f. This puts ALLOT of heat into this grill top that allows me to cook 4, 5" patties at once and still char the other side when I flip them. It also toasts buns to perfection when done. ( I was unable to keep a cast iron grill that hot on my kitchen stove top, BTW) I'm sure this grill top will get used for a bunch of things going forward but I'm in Smash burger heaven at the moment. Looking forward, it looks like this grill ( which has an actual cooking surface of 11.5x 15" BTW) fits nicely over 1/2 my kitchen range top (and covering 3 burners.) I think it's going to work ALLOT better than the narrow, center burner only griddle that came with the stove. I'm going to do bacon and eggs for the whole family soon!

I was surprised how heavy this skillet is. Assuming that means well constructed. Did not come seasoned so I cleaned and seasoned myself on the grill. I will cook on it tomorrow and update my review on how it worked with Smashburgers. Update: The first picture is what it looks like out of the box. The second Is what it looked like after I cooked eggs and bacon on it. Stained because it wasn’t ready to be cooked on. The skillet definitely needs to be well seasoned before your first use. I spread Crisco all over both sides of mine and baked it in the oven at 350° for one hour. The last picture shows after seasoned. Worked great for burgers. Beware if you want to use this on your existing gas burners it isn’t quite long enough for both of mine and heated unevenly. Best fire or a grill.

Griddle seems to be made really really well. Has a nice big surface which makes cooking multiple items very easy. It can also used for cooking on either side. One of the things that I had planned on doing, is the flat burgers so that way you don't have to worry about getting your kitchen nasty as I was going to put them straight on the grill. The weight of it is a little heavy but I would truly expect a cast iron product of this size to weigh a little bit if you use it like I'm going to use it outside. Then you won't have to worry about the grease as much and the heat distribution is usually good too

Great for camping comes with different cooking plates, grill, griddle for different meals!

I picked this one because it's a great fit on our grill, but I have also used it in the oven for frozen pizza. I preheated it. We liked the result. I don't think it would be appropriate on our glass cooktop, but it might be okay with gas. You'd probably find a shape more appropriate for that purpose since this is wider than the ones that are designed to go over burners. It's heavy and will be passed on to grandchildren eventually.

When first purchased we were excited to have this griddle to use on our grill. We grill almost every meal and this gave us the options we needed. In just a little over 3 months (purchased end of July 2023) the fiddle started to loose the smooth surface. As of today the picture reflects what the griddle now looks like. Very unhappy and this only had a 90 day warranty so buyer beware.

Très lourd, l'apparence de la surface est égale sur la mienne contrairement a ce que certain commentaire indique. La qualité me semble vraiment au rendez-vous! La conception me semble bien avec un emplacement qui ramasse le gras sur le côté plat. J'ai hâte de l'essayer!

My cute bbq grill is a square shape of approximately 18"x18" so initially I wanted a 16"x16" size to fit just right in for the heat around to pass through the sides , but could not find. This grill plate came in 16"x14" as advertised and actually works great. I can see the flames and it sits right on top of the burners. It's thick, heavy and well crafted.

Works great after a few seasonings. Nice and heavy cast iron that holds the heat well. Good price too. I only wish the handles didn’t come into the cooking area. And also if the sides were a bit taller it would help keep food in when mixing.
